Lian-Li LANCOOL II Mesh Performance Mid Tower Case $95 + Delivery ($0 C&C in VIC & WA) @ PLE Computers

670

I've been keeping an eye on this case for ages, reviews very very well!
PLE doesn't have it discounted, just straight up for $95 so might be a new price?

Gamers Nexus has it at the top of all their lists in terms of thermals, review: https://youtu.be/_JSLWewcieY

Note: I got free C&C based in WA, I think the wait is 24hrs - I've ordered so will let you know how long it takes

Got mine for $155 delivered in Feb, so far liking the case. Only bummer is no USB-C cable included, so mine just sits plugged up on the front connections.

Gamers nexus was a big influence in my purcahse

    • So does it just have a hole there to put something like this?

      https://www.amazon.com.au/Lian-Li-USB-Type-Cable-LanCool/dp/…

      • Yup, there is a rubber stopped you can leave in it so it isn't just an open hole though

      • I have bought and installed one of these and it was a cinch to install - did it while the pc was running. Wait for 10 dollar ebay coupon to pop up and grab one. I think mine ended up being like 15 bucks. Not too bad considering the prices of other cases that come with USB-C built in.

    Pretty good deal.

  • Great case!

Also to note, as Gamers Nexus suggest, make sure to tape off the bottom of the front cover if you don't want dust coming in. It is the little open handle for you to rip the front panel off but otherwise the fans get free flow air with no filter from the bottom

Built in this case recently. Excellent case, excellent airflow. I also purchased the front USB-C cable as the add-on (linked above by ATangk) since I build a computer about once a decade and figured I'd use it for quickly dumping photos off my phone.

  • Got this case from a prebuilt pc, amazing case love it

Showing as Out of stock in all WA Stores. Only In Stock at Heatherton (VIC) & Vic Warehouse.

Yes I know but it says it will deliver to my store in WA for free, I paid $95 total for pickup in WA store

It may just be a day or 2 wait.

      • Thanks for confirming

I paid $170 in January and its been a nice case. I took the two 140mm fans out the front and moved them as top exhaust, and bought a 5 pack of arctic p12 pwm and put 3 in the front and replaced rear exhaust fan with one and airflow is pretty crazy now. With some fan curve balancing in bios it's pretty quiet under normal use.

    • Careful your top intake isnt just directly being vented out by the front of the top exhaust fan.

      • I mean yeah but there's also a big noctua heatsink with two fans pulling/blowing front to back inbetween the front top intake and the top exhaust… cpu temps are really good…. There's no shortage of airflow lol

great case, but the only issue with the case is the bottom of the front panel has a huge gap that allows dust in. This 3D print addon fixes the issue: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4624203

Ohhhh that looks much better than my duct tape job. Know of any places that do reasonable 3d prints for stuff like this?

      • I could print them for ppl, but I don't know what a reasonable price to charge.

        • $10 I reckon

        • I'd be keen for one.

      • +2

On overclockers there's a thread where you can request prints and people will get back to you with prices, etc. Under Hobby Engineering.

    • Or you can just tape it, just like what nexus gamer did

    • That bottom gap only adds on to the already dust-magnet that the case is. Cleaning out regularly is a must, but it's the inside of fans is the most annoying.

I ended up getting thin filters for the 5 case fans, its restricted the airflow but not by much. 1 month in and the inside is still relatively clean.

      • yup, i actually used one of the fan filters from my o11 XL case that I don't us (since it was on the exhaust side).

Happy to pay for this 3D print! Anyone else interested in doing it?

      • I'd be keen, maybe a group buy of some sort? Either someone on this thread who's willing or via overclockers forum?

    • Thanks for posting that. Had a user locally on Gumtree print out the perforated version for me. Works brilliantly! No more ghetto duct tape job.

Bought this for 159 on PCCG last month. Solid case for first timer builder. The removeable plate was a godsent for hiding those messy cables. Out of the box cooling is also great.

  • This is my case. It's an awesome case.

  • This or o11 dynamic?

Heads up to anyone thinking about buying this case and wanting a top mount 280mm radiator - they don't advertise that they fit but you can squeeze one in with very slight modification or just really tight clearances depending on what you buy. I managed to fit a Kraken Z63 in mine.

Build pics with clearance in my case: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/b/t7zNnQ

Second that, I can fit Corsair H115 Capellix.

  • When I was looking for a case this was never in stock anywhere so ended up getting the CoolerMaster NR400 which I am more than happy with.

  • yeah Lian-Li games are good I have a Lian Li PC-O11DX Razer Edition yes is a better case but its is still a Lian Li and most of there cases are great.

Congrats to those who managed to get one. Been chasing a new case for a while. Bugger this working for a living interrupting my ability to check for bargains. Fingers crossed PLE have a big sale on the Meshify 2. Black Friday/Cyber Monday was a flop this year.

  • I have this Case, managed to pop a new EK AIO 280 Elite with push-pull at the front, alone with two exhaust fans at the top and two intake fans at the bottom as well as the standard exhaust fan. The airflow is amazing and ease of access with the opening flaps makes it a breeze to access everything.

  • O11D EVO releasing soon, looks like only PCCG have it for pre-order https://www.pccasegear.com/products/56642/lian-li-pc-o11-dyn…

  • bro its gone, as in gone gone
