  • Ensure your Amazon cart is empty before clicking from Cashrewards, as items added prior to clicking will not earn cashback. Items must only be added to cart after clicking from Cashrewards.
  • During the 2 hour promotional period, 12% cashback for Amazon Australia is capped at $25 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 11:00am to 1:00pm 24/12/21 (AEDT).
  • Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback.
  • Purchases paid with any Amazon promotional credit as partial or full payment are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, recurring subscribe & save items (first order only is eligible), Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals. Cashback is also ineligible on use of any codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.
  • Pre-orders are eligible for cashback only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.
  • Purchases from Amazon US/UK are eligible for cashback provided the transaction is made via Amazon AU.
  • You must return and click through from Cashrewards to Amazon every time you make a new transaction/purchase. Click and subsequent purchase must be completed inside the 2-hour window. Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).
  • For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc) and VPNs, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost (3x Camels is a tracking killer).   • It happen to me too, Clicked through and purchased at 12:57pm (Sydney Time), Amazon order confirmation email was received at 1:01pm (Sydney Time). Hopefully, it's okay to get this 12% cashback for a $155.88 spent.

        • I placed my order about 12:45pm yesterday and have just received tracking in the last few minutes. As @tightarse (repeatedly!) says, Amazon tracking can take several days, and I usually find mine take 1-2 days to come through.

    just looked at my history for the first time in a while and I'm seeing a lot of "Cashback was not approved". It's almost always with promotional bonuses. I know, you're going to say it's my fault, ad blocker, or refunded, or used unapproved code or whatever. I'm not going to bother arguing with this. My account was created 2014. I know the rules. I have a browser dedicated to cashbacks with no blockers or addons.

    I'm going to put in a claim if it's not tracked by 26th. I know they will manually add it to the tracking, but in my experience any time they add it manually, it rarely gets paid 3 months later when it's due after you've forgotten and stopped keeping track of it and can no longer dispute it.

    • Would only come through at $0 if you (1) clicked out after 1pm deadline, (2) exceeded the $25 cap, (3) paid with promotional credit, (4) purchased one of the ineligible products in the terms. Please check your click history time-stamp. Thanks.

  • Does tracking on Amazon UK (via AU) orders take longer than orders on Amazon AU? Reason I'm asking is because I made 2 transactions, first one on AU @ 12:38 and the second one UK via AU @ 12:44 (both times I clicked activated) and only the 1st order got tracked.

    • Hi mashimus. Great question and in all honesty I’m unsure if sales from UK/US would take longer to track. Normally I’d be able to ping our Amazon contacts but they’re OOO for the holiday period. Please give it a few days and if nothing comes to fruition, simply lodge a claim after 7 days and you’ll be looked after :)

    UPDATE: In answer to my question I found on the CashRewards site that I have to wait 7 days before making a query if the order still has not tracked.

    But it seems that everyone else has had their items tracked, and TA said that another batch of confirmations from Amazon was coming yesterday.

    I just need to know whether it was tracked as I would not have placed the order otherwise.

    • Mine was not tracked last time and when I contacted them they did it out of goodwill. Make me feel that they are doing me a favour because of their dodgy tracking.

    • Hi. All transactions should now have reported provided terms were followed, especially not having items in cart prior to clicking, and not using any promo credit. If this doesn’t apply, please lodge a claim via your click history after 7 days and the support team will take care of it. Thanks.

      Also just as fyi, please don’t rely on tracking emails for notifications as they may land in junk/spam folders. Always refresh your rewards page to check tracking. All the best :)

      • I had 2 separate transactions which tracked but they were missing amounts (multiple items in order) totalling $70ish untracked. Should I file the enquiry now or wait a little more?

    • Yep same cruiseliner. I placed another order today with a 0% cashback to see if CashRewards site recognises one or the other transactions but only the clicks have been registered. Keep waiting as you cannot send a claim until 7 days pass.

    I have made 3 purchases in the time frame as per requirement. 2 of the purchases have not been tracked, and 1 had been declined. I have placed these purchases because of this promotion. I won't be using cashrewards again until they have fixed this up.

      Hi, and thanks for sharing your details via PM. As discussed, the issue here is that the only click you made to Amazon on the 24th was an hour prior to the start of the promo, which explains the tracking issues you experienced (ineligible categories). Because you clicked outside the promo time, the standard Amazon rates and categories were still active - click time is crucial with promos in particular. Please note dot point 8 in the OP:

      You must return and click through from Cashrewards to Amazon every time you make a new transaction/purchase. Click and subsequent purchase must be completed inside the 2-hour window. Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).

  • I made a single click for $217.22 but Amazon divided the purchase into three orders. One of the orders was $6.31 ex GST, so my Cash Reward was $0.76.
