Might as well take the hit and be the first to ask… Is this a good deal?

    • 1888 for techfasts comparable sale https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/665775

But this uses a 3 fan card (should already be price difference) and I’m not sure but other components also listed, and wifi.

I have heard a number of bad experiences from techfast. Probably best avoided

    • The price of the 3060 deal would have been a good deal for the 3060 ti

    • I bought a Dell XPS with an i7-10700 and 3060Ti for $1699, but they are out of stock of that now. Might be a case of buy what you can these holidays.

500GB SSDs have got to go from all these new builds. C'mon a 1TB won't be more than $70-80 wholesale.

  • This or Alienware R10 $2159.20, Alienware seems a better value for the money.

You'll need a new CPU cooler and vrm heat spreader. If you don't want a jet engine in your room you'll also want a couple of new fans. So I'd add around $200 on that price. It's touch and go from there.

  • Nice price but why use APU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600G ?

    • Probably because of price. The 5600g is great for 3060Ti if you are playing games at 1080p. The CPU is not going to be a bottleneck, as it's not a high end GPU. If you are planning on putting a high end GPU such as a 6800/3080 or above and play games at 1080p, then you would look at a 5600x or above CPU. If you play games at QHD or UHD, the GPU is going to be the bottleneck anyway and not the APU.

Upgrade of CPU has been added. Thank you for the comment.

  • Any idea if the heat generation will be alright in a smallish office? Also, is it gunna be noisy?

    • We have test the machine , no heating issue, fans are quiet
