      What benefits would OLED give me over 4K UHD? I've had a 55" Panasonic plasma for years and it's done everything I wanted it to.

    that's A6G, the OP posted deal on A7G, newer model, different experience. The biggest benefit of A7G is Dolby Vision & Price.
    I have 43 inch one, it's great! just connect some good speakers for deep base
