A good use is for dishwashing liquid so you don't have to squeeze dish soap into your sponge every time, just stick the sponge under the dispenser

First time a sensible comment from jv though it seems everyone now negs jv by default. :-)
This is what I have done for my wife and its very useful.

      • Does this actually work with dishwashing liquid? If yes, would indeed be an awesome usecase.

        JV has + from me.

Edit: got it now as my question has been answered below by other member.

Alternatively, just buy a normal dispenser because no matter how filthy your hands are or how minging the dispenser is, you're about to wash your hands with soap and water.

agreed, but i use mine for dishwashing detergent so i dont have to squeeze dish soap into my sponge every time, just stick the sponge under the dispenser

Ooh, now that is a good use that I hadn't considered. OK, you get a pass. :)

      • I got one of them sponges on a hollow stick which doubles as a detergent reservoir

      • And for the laundry liquid as well for prewashing stains on clothes.

You make a very compelling argument, however, there is something oddly satisfying about using an automatic soap dispenser (my younger self maybe) .

bought one in previous deals, have 2 preset dispensing levels. Great combo with the discounted foam wash from Amazon deal. I prefer this than ordinary Dettol auto-soap dispenser.

  • looks good

  • Whats good about this compared to the Xiaomi ones. Does anybody know?

    • +1

I think Xiaomi needs to use their own soap. Unless you hack it?? I could be wrong.

      • thanks for sharing

      • It is easy, you only need to drill a hole and cover it with a hole plug or sticky tape.

This is rechargeable, it is $7.8 more.

    • can you just put rechargeable in it?

      • Then it would be more expensive.

    • I brought 2 of the ones you just linked and think they're great.

    • I ordered this one from Banggood when it was $19.90 earlier in the month.
      https://www.amazon.com.au/Waterproof-Countertop-Rechargeable…

    • I have bought rechargeable ones but prefer my own batteries so I can replace them when they die.

  • Original price now shows $39.99

    • Tick the box to get the discount.

  • The Original was $29.95, why it's now showing $39.95?
I bought this for $14.99 2 months ago.

  • Original price shows up as $42.99.

  • Is there anything different about this one compared to this? https://www.amazon.com.au/Automatic-SISHAN-Rechargeable-wate…

Wouldn't people prefer the rechargeable one?

I've ordered then cancelled because I don't know which is good :(
