    Wow, 22% cashback sounds great!
Now to find something I actually need…

  • It seems myer no longer sells iPhones.
What is considered a good discount / referral credit on iPhone 13/13mini?

    • -8

      iPhones sell themselves

I actually thought your response would have been “Apple gift cards from Woolworths with bonus Everyday Rewards points”, because you purchased $36k of them during one deal…

Myer stopped selling them in 2019.

Honestly, a very good discount would be 15% off, but that assumes you are happy to purchase an iPhone from a physical JB Hi-Fi store and can get your hands on 15% off TCN or Ultimate gift cards, and those gift card deals usually only happen once a year around Black Friday. TCN or Ultimate sometimes also sell their gift cards at a 10% discount once or twice at other times of the year at Coles, Woolworths or directly through their own websites.

There were also Apple gift card deals at Coles, Woolworths and BIG W where you could earn 30x Everyday Rewards or Flybuys points earlier this year (equivalent to 15% of the gift card’s face value returned to you in bonus points), but the more recent deals dropped the bonus points earn rate to 20x (equivalent to 10% of the gift card’s face value).

I don’t really follow JB Hi-Fi’s trade-in deals, so I don’t know whether you could get a better deal that way.

      • Thanks. I will keep an eye on those.

    • Home > Kitchen > Utensils & Tools (as per their site) ?

      • I guess I just want clarification as it has electronics in it but unsure if it would fall under the electronics category

I brought 1 today, is electronic, tracked at 10% with ShopBack. Surprisingly, despite being Boxing Day, click and collect was ready in 3 hrs and have picked up just now.

          • +2

@TKC1984: Where did you bring it to

          • @TKC1984: I ordered via C&C at noon today, but it's not ready to collect yet. But then again, I don't blame them, it would have been hectic in-store today.

@dami: I also bought 2x filter packs at good guys at $36 each with latitude pay so got $15 off and 6% cashback. Comes to $27.04 for pack of 3 which is slightly better than Myer at $34 & Cashback.

Home, my shopback tracked last time

My cashback never came through last time with Cr uosized cashback at Myer - being investigated. So word of caution if any bigger orders.

  • Asking those with prior experience.

Say I purchase multiple items in the one order - some eligible for 20%, others for 10%.

Can I confirm CR will calculate everything correctly in the same order?

    • Not to worry - I will just try to put them through as separate transactions.

      Cheers.

  • 6:04 pm now, chrome app still shows 12.5% CB

Tracked within a minute of the order confirming, awesome!

Was looking at some kitchenaid stuff, only bought because of Cashrewards 20% flash sale, thanks OP!

  • If I'm looking at buying a pot, does that come under the 'home' category? Does that mean I'm eligible for 20% cashback?

    edit: misread percentage discounted

  • Question, does it make the 65" C1 around $2400 after cashback? https://www.myer.com.au/p/lg-cinema-series-c1-65-165cm-4k-ai…

    Or is there an exclusion.

    • Wouldn't it be 10%?

      • Yea you're right… So $2700….

        • Nah, would be 2999*.91 (cashback excludes GST) = $2729 +$75 delivery = $2804. Still the best price for everyone outside of Sydney.

          • @Jacko1235: Just bought the LG C1 65" and received $272.64 cashback. Came to $2801.36 including delivery. Best delivered price atm.

Anyone know if kitchenware (Utensils & Tools) falls under Home or ineligible?

  • +1

If anyone is a myer one member check your email, I had one this morning with an offer I had to activate to get a $20 gift card if I buy something today

    • You had to buy $200 of something

      • May I know where did you get the number "$200" from?? As my email only mentions a purchase.

        • From the e-mail I got.

Spend $200 or more in one day and earn a $20 e-Voucher

          • +1

@kerfuffle: It sounds like you were targeted with a slightly different deal. The email I received only mentions:

            Make a purchase and get a $20 e-Voucher

It’s probably because I haven’t shopped at Myer in over two years…

      • Nope no minimum spend for me.

I was also targeted during the black Friday sales, only spent $40 and got a $20 voucher in return. These vouchers are basically like a gift card, you can stack them with the $10 birthday voucher they give you. I do it every year.

  • Just made a purchase and the tracked cashback email arrived in an instant. Great stuff.

  • Paying with Commbank Awards and buy now pay later would be eligible for cash back?

    • I can't answer the first question, but yes to the second question, provided you meet the terms and conditions

    • i dont see any exclusion for Commbank awards, but not so sure about it

  • Dyson Airwrap sold out :(

Ahhh got two minutes left, I'll have to wait another year

  • I bought Aesop with 10% beauty discount. That discount was applied automatically by Myer. However, my Cashrewards status changed to Declined with no reason. What can I do? Nowadays Shopback has much better customer service than Cashrewards. Shopback representative is always available at Ozbargain. Any issue or not tracking will be resolved very quickly.

    • I also bought Aesop, but I just checked and my transaction hasn't declined.

Did you use a gift card?

    • Hi @Hohoa, and thanks for responding to my PM. Records show you made two separate purchases at Myer on the 26th off the one click ($237 pending, $36 declined). Looking at the declined reason in the affiliate partner network, the reason given by Myer is

Rejected as multiple conversions per click are not allowed.

You need to make separate clicks for each new order as per the terms of the store:

      https://www.cashrewards.com.au/myer

You must return and click through from Cashrewards every time you make a new transaction/purchase.

Thankfully you made the larger purchase first. Hope this helps :)

      • Thank you @tightarse for responding so quickly and sorted everything for me. As TA mentioned above, hope others will aware this and make sure return and click through from Cashrewards every time making new transaction.

  • No. I paid by Paypal in full.

    • I’d make an enquiry with CR. Unless you had some extension or something, I don’t see why you’d be declined.

@tightarse or @minita, are you able to help out with this one please? :)

      • +1

I made 2 purchas. One is still pending and this one declined. @tightarse had reached me to offer help. Thank you @kerfuffle

        • TA sorted everything. Quick response and good service. Thank you
