  • Just wondering why you charge so much extra for us Australian customers than on your US site (http://www.prescriptionglassesonline.net)? Unless, of course, one of the sites has stolen the other's almost completely!

Almost twice as much in some instances. On 1 pair of frames, we get slugged $38, while the US gets it for $18.50. To add Multifocals to the frames, we get slugged $103, while the US gets them for $57.

Adding additional options to the lenses are much closer in price, so why the discrepancy on the basics?

    • Interesting… both sites are registered to the same address in NSW; so why would their Australian customers be charged more? http://reverseget.com/domain/ozglasses.com

The street address from the website, is the same as 3Link Technology (3link.com.au); which seems to be a suburban IT outfit of some description.

      Ummm…

I would like to know too, this is not a deal at all

  • No deal, try zenni optical their frames are cheaper and 1.57 thinner lenses are free and standard, ozglasses charge u additional $15 for thick 1.5 index lenses
Also more saving for even thinner lenses -
Eg 1.67 high index here is $80, zenni is $35, goggles4u is $40

Also check out goggles4u.com on par with zenni, cmon lift up your game ozglasses!!

    • I used to be a fan of Zenni, having bought half a dozen pair of great glasses, then I decided to splurge and buy a pair of glasses with polarizing coating. What a shocking piece of rubbish turned-up. Worst thing was, they had the gall to tell me that what they had sent was not only acceptable, but was standard for these lenses.

I'll have a harder time dealing with Zenni after this experience.
