ViewSonic 27” 165Hz QHD Gaming Monitor & Steelseries Arctis 1 Wireless for Xbox Combo $409 Metro Del'd + Surcharge @ Centre Co

100

With an immersive curved screen and 165Hz refresh rate, the ViewSonic VX2718-2KPC-MHD provides a stunning viewing experience. The monitor has been designed with a 1500R curved and borderless panel for an immersive experience.

4-in-1 Wireless Gaming Headset, Ultra-low latency wireless for Xbox*, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC, Noise-cancelling Discord-certified detachable mic, High-performance speaker drivers from the award-winning Arctis 9X, Comfortable fit and lasting durability with an adjustable steel-reinforced headband

Seems like a pretty decent deal to me - QHD, curved, 27 inch, 165Hz - ticks most of the boxes for me. Surcharge applies for select payment methods.
Viewsonic reviews are probably a bit of hit and miss but combining this with a free pair of headset (believed to be valued at about 80 dollars on the market at Mwave), I think it stands quite well pricing. Worst of, can always sell off the headset to recuperate the cost.

  • This vs the lg 144hz?

    • +1

LG is great quality which I can vouch for but this is suitable for budget differences that people may have while still enjoying all the features that a gamer may want and QHD too included.

Price difference so budget wise this is cheaper since selling the headset will reduce the price to about 339. Whereas LG is standing at 100 dollars more by itself.

Also curved screen vs flat screen. And 165 Hz vs 144hz not that many games can reach that framerate.

  • How does this compare to the Dell s2721dgf?

    • +1

This is VA, there is the VX2705-2KP-MHD (27' 144 Hz IPS) which is the direct competitor to the Dell, and yeah it's worse. The previous model version (VX2758) is better than the 2705, but with the pricing right now I would stick to the Dell (with the usual 399$ discount price ofc)

      • I have used a VA screen before and I don't think VA is as bad as they make it seem to be. In fact, the contrast is great for daylight as opposed to my LG IPS that feels like a mirror reflecting all the sunlight.

Cheap VA monitor with borderline awful gaming performance, and an entry level wireless headset.

I wouldn't value the monitor over $250 as a deal, so this is pretty meh.
