  • Thanks OP 👍😁

    Edit: I love the challenge using Excel to make simple programs with it

    Excellent! Thanks OP!

  • Is this any good? Or are there better free alternatives?

    • YouTube?

      • Links to some good ones?

          Subscribe to ExcelisFun and Leila Gharani. Curbal is good if you are looking for Power BI knowledge too.

    Any deals for MS Paint?

  • I am not able to download it, could someone share it with me please? Upload link to the book?

    • +2

      @sqheaven
      No one will be able to share it this is not a normal file type you can just copy regardless. You will need a device and/or appropriate Kindle software for your device before you can read this title. It is a closed proprietary system.

      If you haven't already done so, open a Kindle account @ amazon.com.au. It's free. There is plenty of help there in what you need to do. There is NO obligation to buy anything. Then come back here and click on the link to the title. It will ask you where you want the title sent to… cloud.. pc… kindle app on smartphone, tablet etc.
      Due to the mechanics of DRM (Digital Rights Management), there is no actual open source transferable file, The file proprietary and is checked into and out of your devices (like a library book) for eBook titles, music, movie, TV show, software etc (any electronic file with DRM attached to it).
      Note for the pedants: Don't bother to flame me. I am just trying the KISS (Keep It Simple Sweetheart) principle in my explanation. There is a likelihood that I may know more about intellectual property, copyright, extinguishable and expired rights and patents in one sentence than you could ever flame me with anyway. Life is too short.

      Good luck. I love my Kindle Reader (not a mandatory device) and read about 2 - 3 titles a week.

      • Good explanation, sapienti sat :)

      • Much ado about nothing. There’s a fair chance somebody who collects free eBooks on OzBargain deals would go to the effort of stripping the DRM.

  • I love not reading

    I wonder if this can work for someone using Google sheets, the two programs seem to be very similar, at least to my very superficial knowledge?

    • There should be plenty of tutorials for free if you google.

    • +2

      fairly different unfortunately

    • +3

      Excel is vastly more powerful than Google Sheets

  • Thanks. I just saved $30 from having to buy the book .

  • How does one claim or read this?

    I've got Prime but never done anything with ebooks before

    • +1

      @twig
      See my above response to sqheaven.

      The only difference with Prime is that Prime members get more special offers. It is not mandatory to have a Prime membership, however Kindle offers are one of Prime's benefits.

      • Oh that was super easy, thanks!

        What I ended up doing was clicking through to "buy" and it went through some ugly Amazon themed EULA. Had a confirm button at the bottom but I couldn't tell when using mobile.

        Confirm, "checkout" free item and click view on Cloud Kindle or something like that to view at https://read.amazon.com.au
