Saw that last night, good link. I'm still happy with the Quest 2 version. Anything where twitch gameplay is necessary I'm choosing the native quest version (Beat Saber, Eleven Table Tennis etc).

    • It’s cross-buy, so buying the Quest version also gives you the PC version.

      • +2

Yes, but you can choose between buying on steam or oculus. Buying on steam allows you to use a different VR system later.

        • That’s fair (there is ReVive but there are potential issues).

For what it's worth, the devs for Eleven Table Tennis will sell you a key at sale prices if you message them on discord. Couldn't tell you the price but might save you waiting.

trying now - you are truly legend, James

        • Let us know if it worked, looking to do the same.

@orin: Yes it works, they send you the PayPal info for you to send them $14.47 then they send you a key to redeem in the app, took about 30 seconds after sending the PayPal payment, they’re very responsive

@orin: I’m doing the same now. The dev is super quick to respond!

            • @FullM3tal: I spoke to the Dev and to make it easier for everyone, here is the steps to follow, please DM @carrotstien

              “`
              message from the dev (carrotstien):
I have a steam price match policy for quest users. You shouldn't have to play the game over link/vd/air link because it's much worse that way. Stop by the discord, and send me a private message. The message should look like:
"Hi. I live in [general location]. I see Eleven on the steam store for [the price you see]. Can I buy an oculus key for quest for this price?"

Please don't spam the public channels with messages about this as it's distracting for other users.

PS: I'm in New York (EST time zone). So if i'm asleep, i'll respond once i wake up

They’ve also said on discord that it will be on sale tomorrow, but they’re also matching the current steam price of $14.47 if you message them

Omg then i should wait! Have referral credit….. Grrrrrrr

  • Worth noting that this is also one of the few Apps/games that doesnt not have family sharing.

    • "doesnt not have family sharing."

So it does have family sharing? Just wanted to check the double negative is intentional.

There is noticeable delay when shooting people as there is no Aus servers

    • Will report back once I give it a proper go.

      • It won't affect your enjoyment as you adapt but I guess if you want to be a pro gamer, it may be frustrating. I get about 250ms to their servers.
