Was $39 on amazon yesterday but I guess it is the best right now.
$49… $35 for Lite and $59 for Max.
Would wait unless you need it asap. Pretty meh deal.
Standard deal you get on these through Amazon (who have just returned to the full $79).
Only way you usually get better is to combine it with 3rd party incentives like Afterpay, etc.Except the 4K and even brand new 4K max are at the same price fairly often, and yeah, no extra incentives.
4k is superseded and Max is usually $10 more. (I'd get the Max.)

Why the 4k model?
4K Max got much better specs. The HD version is slow as hell especially when you try to run anything other than streaming (Kodi, etc.)
I got the 4K max for $39 from bigw 2 months ago. I don’t think this is a good deal.

Still I would not buy this for $49.
For anyone that missed the long running Amazon boat… This is one of the last retailers I can find at this $49 price point.
As others have mentioned though, you'll probably be able to get this price again in the future, and possibly be able to combine with a 3rd party offer to save even more.
Personally, if you haven't got one yet, I'd get the 4k Max for the extra $10 if you can still find one on sale… or wait!
