Great price. Hopefully Amazon will match it soon! Would definitely buy from Amazon as it has 2 years warranty and at least 30 days free return in case it's DOA.

    • +6

Definitely. My experience with Banggood customer service has been terrible. Had a driving camera that stopped working a few months after purchase (well within warranty) and they wanted to do a partial refund because the unit was "no longer new". Had to fight tooth and nail to finally get them to accept a return, which I had to send back to China.

      Never again.

      • +1

Really? They gave me $180 back for a flickering screen

    • +1

Amazon got as low as $490 during Black Friday sales - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/665529
The extra $50 was worth the Amazon return policy

I have Nillkin Slide Cover Camera Lens Protection Slim Back Case (https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Va1Tp1T7L.AC_SL1500.jp…) but its broken now. Looking for alternate option. Please recommend. Thanks.

any news on when the F4 (pro?) is coming?

  • the white version is sold out?

  • I tried to pay with paypal. First it showed payment failed. But paypal has charged my bank account and in paypal activity, it is pending for authorisation in progress. There is no activity in bangood account.

I dont know what is goong on.

    • +1

If there's no record of the order in your account, it most likely didn't get placed and the pending authorisation will drop off in a few days. You can ask BG live chat for confirmation.

Bought this phone and happy overall
No SD card but after installing COD and general apps (FB, whatsapp, Service NSW etc) it is only 50G/240GB. Battery is solid and Quick charge charges within 1.5 hours. COD plays at HD without any lag.

Camera quality is okay for the price range but nothing exceptional.

I do not like the bevel and once all my photos got corrupted and had to delete them. The new ones I took later are working fine.

      Install GCam with bsg config

      • HeyPapito
Being a GCam novice where do I find the GCam with bsg config for the Poco F3 and any pointers on installation ?

  • +2

Very nice phone, ticks every box. LineageOS 18.1 runs perfectly on it.

  • +2

keep in mind with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 released, all older phones is meant to drop in price, be aware of new phone coming out, or price deduction on last year's snapdragon 888/870.

    • Any models to look out for? I was looking for a budget phone and had my eyes set on the Redmi Note 11 Pro but I've been constantly hearing "it will globally release next month" since October.

Getting tired of the constant carrot on a stick (last news was 6th of January, now they are saying 19th) and I definitely can't wait until March/April (Note 10 Pro release date).

      • Really any phone within your budget(that have a good price like this one) that have Snapdragon 870/888, and as much RAM as possible(if you can choose 12G ram don't go 10G, if you can choose 10G don't choose 8G, etc) . The single exception is Xiaomi 11, which overheats and de-solder the wifi chipset itself.

  • This or a second hand S21 Ultra 256GB for $550?

    • +2

Without a doubt the S21 Ultra. Better performance, cameras, display, etc. etc.

    • +2

Btw please lmk where you can get a second hand S21 Ultra for $550 lol

    • The later, but I doubt you'll see that again

    • sell me one

  • +1

Is it worthy to pay extra $50 for Redmi K40 gaming edition? Aliexpress offers it at $486 with 12GB ram and 256GB storage?

    • +1

Don't you have to add GST for Aliexpress purchases?

      • Indeed,I just realised it. Thanks and I have placed an order from Banggood.

  • It is so tempting, the only thing stopping me is no wireless charging. Currently have a Xiaomi 9T with a cracked glass back that needs replacing, loved my 9T with the exception of lack of wireless charging and the tinny speakers. Anyone have something they can recommend that will do wireless charging, mid range phone (nothing Samsung or Apple).

    • I'm looking for exactly this. I do t mind not having top internal specs but I've got used to wireless charging and now have enough chargers that not having it would be a pain. Seems like it's now a top end only feature unless you buy a pad to out in the case that permanently uses your usb port removing turbo charging.

I'm now on the fence between one plus (9 or 10), pixel 6 or the xiaomi mi 11 (or 12) just to get this feature.

      • yep exactly same, multiple wireless chargers and love the convenience, really like the look of the Xiaomi 11/12 but the price makes it a very expensive buy just for that feature as I just don't need the specs to be that high end for the rest of it.

        • The S21 FE just got announced as another option but I can't say I've ever been a fan of Samsung's UI on their phones.

Really miss the Nexus line for having all I needed at the right price. Can't see Google adding wireless charging to the pixel 6A.

          • @Everettpsycho: Will Never buy another Samsung, between bloat, sucky UI and Bixby the s9 was the end for me.

  • can somebody tell me how is the vibration actuation motor on this phone? comparable to flagships?

    • Feedback is clean, not buzzy like cheap phones, but not very strong.

  • Camera compared to my current note 9?

  • What's a good phone with extra wide selfie camera? I used to have an LG V20 with a super wide selfie camera, I could fit a group of people in the selfie easily without having to do any tricks. Lost this feature when upgrading to Mi 9T.

Got my Poco F3 8gb 256gb from banggood.com group buy $375.57au took just over a month to arrive though

    • U just paid 375 aud for this one ?

      • +1

Yup still haven't unboxed it, still thinking whether I need it lol

    • Yeah I remember trying to get into that groupbuy but I was late to the party. This is a never to be repeated price.

    • That's a very good price👍. How come very low?;)

      • +1

Group buy, I also got one for that price but it was only blue colour available

  • Can anyone confirm widevine level for netflix please?

    • It's L1.

  • Do the group buy and this is $385 au for a pair of people buying.

Can recommend arrowOS 12 and GCam with Poco f3 settings for a pixel like experience much better than MiUi

    • +1

How do you get into the group buying opportunity?

  • Worth getting one of these for people waiting for the Redmi Note 11 pro?

(which has been releasing in the "next couple of weeks" since October and might end up being released in April for all I know…)

Main concerns about the F3 compared to the Note Pro:
    - Worse battery life?
    - No headphone jack.
    - Most importantly, 1 less year of updates?

  • +1

So wheres the code? I'm only getting $476

  • So has anyone actually got any tracking update on this one yet? I'm thinking of ordering an F3 but not sure if I can wait 4 weeks….
