First time poster, saw a lot of expired deals and need a 65 or a 75 inch TV and found this. Myer also have the 65 inch for same price. I'm not a tech guy so no idea if this is a good TV but the reviews seem good!

Good guys has the c727 for 1295, and was 1195 last week. That model has FALD so should be much better blacks and highlights
I have the C727. Whilst the the contrast and colours look fantastic, the viewing angle is terrible. Anything but straight on is met with a washed out look.
Not sure if the C725 would be the same.Probably the same. All reviews for 2021 TCL TV seem to indicate horrible viewing angles
1249 + free ship at Costco, personally chose the U8G over this but not much on sale a the minute.
I have checked them out in the store and to my untrained eyes, Hisense looks much better. I don't know if that's because the promotional video they have but TCL ones don't look as contrast as Hisense ones.

Not a deal, OP is more looking for advice if the TV is good than posting a deal.

All posts have comments regarding a TV's performance, specs, and alternatives or better models for a particular price point. Apologies if asking for peoples thoughts was inappropriate..Like pingponged mentioned above, you can get the better C727 from Good Guys for the same price, so this is not a good deal.

@Cobra429: The main difference between this and the C727 is that the C727 had FALD (Full Array Local Dimming).
honestly… I would spend Lil bit more on a rather well-known brand.
It's not worth the hustle later on… especially at some stage, you'll hear the movie voice first then the motion picture got delayed for a few secs…
and/or the image pixel issues.
i somehow stay clear of TCL and went for LG UHD last year at $1175 from TGG promo. has edge instead of full array but i guess the picture quality and viewing angles is comparatively better. didnt have a good long term experience of an older TCL 43" we had in the home before, too much of lag with updates after a year+ and youtube would crash every time an ad crosses 10 sec
Think I'll continue waiting for a deal on the 75c825 than jump at this. Might be waiting a bit though
