  • Now comes the wait minimum 4 weeks I'm expecting!!! 😞

  • +2

Shipping estimate today is 20-28/1 . Yeah, right. In Banggoods dreams. Pure fantasy especially with a product in high demand nearing end of product life cycle.

  • Thanks OP, finally I have bought it :-)

  • Is it worth getting a newer Realme GT Neo 2 8GB over this for 552 aud?

I know it's more expensive for pretty much the same specs, but the proximity sensor isue with the Xiaomi's is kind of a dealbreaker. The extra battery life (5000mah) and having a longer update period are nice boons as well.

Though I don't know if I should be waiting for upcoming models.

    • The F3 was tested at the battery lasts longer than the X3 pro even though the X3 is bigger battery and 552 is a lot more than this price so is your choice

  • Hi, is it possible to transfer data from iPhone to this ?

  • Other colours US$278.04

    US$284.74 now :(

  • Anyone had an issue with UPS for this device as I have a message telling me my parcel is "delayed in transit. delivery will be rescheduled." Anyone know what this means?

    • Well my order has been sitting for 2 weeks with aramex in Sydney with no updates at all

  • Good morning

The goods come in from overseas and are dispatched from a distribution warehouse in Australia. At this time they have not yet supplied the order to us for transit

Haha, sorry, Aramex suck! Formerly Fastway couriers, the worst courier company with the worst communication ever.

      • They are saying that they haven't even got the parcel yet

  • I swear these guys are useless…. so I ordered the x3 pro 256gb around the 28/12 and there's been no updates since 30/12 tracking information entered…

So aramex keeps saying they have not received anything yet Banggood says it is in transit but why is it 2 weeks later and still in transit when it is meant to be coming from Australia warehouse?

Banggood says please be patient due to pandemic etc etc but I have a feeling they have limited stock in AU so are now buying time for me to wait for the item to come from overseas?

So finally they say we shall wait until Jan 21 if no news by then I shall get a full refund…. what a load of bull it shouldn't take 4 weeks to get an item from Sydney?

    Someone is being misleading here!

    • It's Aramex, my order from 22/02 from AU warehouse is still in transit yet orders placed much later have all arrived.

What does your tracking say when you enter it on the Aramex website?

      • Well that's where it gets weird aramex just says your shopping information has been submitted yet on the 17 track it says

Sydney, Your parcel is currently being processed at a sortation facility. We'll notify you with another update when it's ready to be delivered.

        2021-12-30

        I'll just keep checking everyday…..

        • Yeah that's definitely weird, it's definitely taking much longer to deliver even by Aramex standards.

I'd say it's the holiday backlog and the increase in Omicron infections as stated on their website
'Due to the widespread impact of Omicron infections, the Aramex network is experiencing delays'

It did take 14 days for mine to progress from 'Consignment Information Submitted' to 'Your parcel has been picked up by one of our couriers'. So if that's any indication it might take another day or two for yours to be picked up by the courier.

          • @adr8: Not much choice they just said pls give it until the 21st

            • @JesseN9: My item just got delivered now, the tracking updated after it was delivered. So their tracking appears to be lagging somewhat, the time gap between 'Onboard ready for delivery' and delivered is usually more than 10 mins lol

              • @adr8: That's like 2 weeks to get from Sydney to Melbourne and still another week to deliver it so 3 weeks to get your phone…. wow

                • @JesseN9: It was a motion sensor light, but yeah I agree not good.

Just be aware that it may get delivered without a tracking update on the day of delivery.

                  • @adr8: Yes I've gathered that so I'm hoping nobody steals the phone if I'm not home….

                  • @adr8: Finally got it today 2 weeks to get it not too bad but again no updates until the day it was delivered.. anyone I'm curious has anyone got any tracking update for this POCO F3 ??? I'm thinking of Updating too the F3 the only downside might be no micro SD but easy enough to transfer stuff into laptop

  • +2

WOW SO I missed their delivery so now I've got to wait for them to drop it at the collection point which could be tonight or tomorrow… I guess it's nice they didn't just leave it out for anyone but how useless not one tracking update until they try to deliver it…. now just have to wait until I can go collect and hope it is a decent phone after all this

  • Finally got it today 2 weeks to get it not too bad but again no updates until the day it was delivered.. anyone I'm curious has anyone got any tracking update for this POCO F3 ??? Seems this code still works. I just placed an order with the discount.

    • Yes it is there but says it will expire today…

  • CAN ANYBODY RESPOND I just want to know if there been any updates for those who ordered this a week ago? Like has it been shipped yet

    • +2

shipped but the courier website has not been updated "Package has been sterilized and shipped out."

    • +1

Currently in Melbourne on route to Tasmania with a delivery date by the 19th

      • That's pretty good

  • Is anyone else having all these issues im reading about?? Screen dimming, freezing lagging etc

    • +1

I switched to the weekly of the xiaomi.eu ROM - it's pretty great, no freezing or lagging. Miui 13!

      • Yes waiting on that mui 13

  • Well I'm selling my x3 pro which should pay for this F3 deal would have been nice to get the 256gb but no deal for that one so got this deal $385 with the insurance.

Not paying $100 just for the extra 128gb.

Very excited just have to wait weeks now from HK

  • my f3 has been sterilised and shipped "apparently"

  • This or the s21 FE at Samsung store for ~$800?

    • +2

Depends how much you like $400

  • Ordered.

During checkout, the shipping said free "Expedited" due Feb 5. After purchase, it changed to free "Standard" due Feb 22.

Customer service livechat said it was changed automatically due to "shipping limitations". (Don't know what this could be, I live in metro Melbourne.) They couldn't change it to Expedited, and canceling and reordering would result in the same thing.

    • I did a periodic check and, sometime in the last few days, the delivery window was changed from February 12-22 to March 1-11. The tracking hasn't been updated since "Your package has been sterilized and sent out." Checkout promised delivery in 12 days and the current estimate is is 46. So far a pretty bad experience!

  • ordered on 9 Jan n received it today (24 Jan)!
    :)

  • How long does it usually take for Xiaomi to release a global version of their POCO phones? Tossing up between waiting for the POCO F4/Redmi K50…

  • My wife ordered herself one of these but still not even in Australia after 2 weeks…..

    • I'd always leave at least 30 days before you start sweating about it - even internal AU post is delayed these days, which totally sucks

  • Also bear in mind that it is the Chinese New Year holiday season in China. That can be compared to Xmas + New Year in Oz, when you would not expect normal service.

  • Peoples thoughts on the phone? I for one think for the price its a brilliant phone and the only lament would be the fact that it does not support volte on the Telstra/Boost network

    • +1

I have three minor complaints only:

      1. The proximity sensor being, um, non-standard means that I have changed the way I use my phone. Can't be "tap to wake", which sucks.
      2. The battery-life isn't the greatest, even though it's more than adequate - I'd love to be able to get through 2 days of not doing much with it, but it still going. Can't do that.
      3. The screen isn't the greatest regarding colour evenness - that is, in the dark, bring up a black image and you can see how uneven it is.

The second one is a minor complaint - there are phones that are much less thirsty - but it's fine.

It's VERY fast, so I'm cool with that.

Bluetooth connectivity is so much better than with my old OnePlus 5. It's great.

I hated MIUI at the beginning, but I'm on the MIUI 13 (Android 12) beta and I actually don't mind it. I wanted to do a stock Android ROM, but none of those can apparently access the camera using the amount of pixels that the phone has to give, so… MIUI it is.

Charging is blazingly fast with the supplied charger and cable. Wireless charging would have been a nice to have, but this is fine.

I'm on Optus so I have VoLTE and VoWifi enabled, and that's been really great too.

Very happy with it, especially for the money! FWIW I've got the 8GB RAM / 256GB Storage version.

Finding a good screen protector has been hard, and cases for it seem to interfere with the gesture navigation, but you can just turn the traditional Android soft keys on, so that's nice too.

Would buy another Poco/Xiaomi for sure (hopefully I won't need to for a while)

      • I use "Microsoft launcher" on mine, works well.
