you won't need to worry about the answer cuz you're not getting one from them

      • Very insightful

  • -1

    any store price matching itech?

  • +17

i-tech is known to have pricing errors, I am starting to think this is probably a marketing tactic to get the name out or they are extremely careless in administration. As far as I am aware they won't be making it up to you and these will be straight cancelled with no apologies. I have caught up with at least the past two assuming they are good deals and at one time I even had to follow up a few times to get the money back.

    • +1

But U bought this anyway right? Gotta chase the high

      • +4

honestly no. avoiding my time waste. though I enjoy reading the comments and wasting the time anyway :-)

  • Just bought 4 and hopefully they fulfil the order. Will finally make the NAS I been thinking about

    • -4

lol you just gave them your name and address for their data mining project

      • +1

@jgod Brroooooo we get it….you’ve said it on like every comment, data mining blah blah blah.

Yours and my data has already been out there many many many times and it’s from services a lot more substantial than i-tech

  • -4

    I want free ahipping

    • -1

Send them to me and I'll pay for the ahipping, whatever the hell that is.

    • +2

There's an option thag allows you to buy it for $54 with free shipping

  • Just ordered 3. Let's see how it goes.

  • Since this is the pro version this usually goes for 200, not 130 as some claim.

  • +1

Bought 2, got to be in it to win it.

  • +5

Took one look at the blurry 1998 logo and knew it wouldn't be honoured or coupons given.

  • Looks like they've caught on, prices have been adjusted on Auspcmarket, imagine the others will soon too.

    • Haha then maybe the rest of us who ordered have a chance of it being honoured.

    • Still $36 on i-Tech.
Bought 1 for my NAS. Will probably get cancelled though

  • +12

Now watch everyone get really really upset when this is cancelled for being a blatant price error.

    • +7

I'd say most of us are expecting cancellations so no reason to be really really upset

      • +10

        You would be suprised.

      • +1

Just need to check previous price errors to see.

      • +1

You must be new to OzBargain lol

    • +5

"I ordered 6 and they canceled them all. This is an outrage!"

      • -3

Which store did you order? I ordered at two stores but haven't received cancellations email yet.

      • +1

"how do I use them/some policy/what do I tell the ACCC/a current affair"

    • Best way for everyone to channel their inner karens

  • +6

    Order cancelled, waste of time

    • That was the goal, but now they have your email address too.

      We got suckered.

  • Office closed till Monday

  • +5

StaticICE shows I-Tech's price as $247, I'm guessing the 'sale' price should be $236. I'm awaiting my cancellation email.

  • ordered 2, see how it goes

  • +2

It would be epic if they fulfill … got to be in it to win it!

    • no epicness here mate, fully expect zero epicness.

  • +18

Why even both posting when the pricing error is this grevious? They're obviously never going to honour it. It just wastes everyone's time and if this is a regular thing for them like it sounds, only helps their free advertisement goal.

    • So it can be ozbargained?

    • Worked out for the Bunnings DJI Mavic deal for most involved, one way or another

    • Blind upvoters and suckers all of us.

  • +2

ordered 6, ha, paid via paypal, worst case, refund

  • +1

Why not. Worth a shot ordering 2.

  • -5

    Got two already delivered

  • +2

I hope this is an exit scam! /s

    • It is a scam

  • Trying for two

    • Refunded

  • Rugpull

  • Ordered 3 with PayPal. Guessing it's just a straight refund of money if it's cancelled?

    • +3

There's also no legal obligation to honour a price error ;)

  • +6

Bought 700 of them, I’ll resell them for $110 each

  • Worth the risk

  • +3

This is clearly a price error and all orders would be cancelled. However this post still get load of positives and people still placed the order because people are hoping to see miracle! Wonder what is the biggest miracle in life!

    • -1

      Miracles don't exist… e.g. Child birth isn't a miracle, it's science.
If this isn't a price error, it's not a miracle either, it's just a good buy for those that ordered it.

      • +2

Ok Tom, yes nothing is a miracle, our origins/existence is well understood, and science is doing great!

        • +1

Are you saying there is a god?

        • I can't tell if he is mocking Science or that he actually believes everything he wrote.

  • +3

Such a blatant price error. You are just wasting your time.

  • +4

can i use 28degree price protection to buy at Amazon $194 and get the different back base on screenshot?

    • Only if u do it today itself. Take a screenshot of the page. Worth a shot

    • -3

Price Protection, which gives cardholders who use the card to purchase a product and then see the price of that product from the same retailer fall within six months after the purchase date, get a refund of the difference back on the card.

      • If you have a old card it's 12 months at any australian retailer.

      • It doesn’t have to be the same retailer anymore

    • Any credit paid to you due to price protection which turned out to be a price error can be debited back by the insurer.

  • +2

No good at my end. PayPal rejected it 3 times.

  • +9

In for the comments, then the tears and wanting to complain to ACCC that they refunded their orders

  • +1

Been here. Got cancelled before from this mob.

    • -1

Who did you call? I called support, got a girl call Karen, she said it is my fault for placing an order. Said they all in isolation

      • it's our fault buying from them?? are they going to put us in jail??!?

        • Yes it's your fault and only you are going to jail.

    • -1

Did you get any email confirmation regarding post?

    • +2

      delivered in 2 hours huh?

      Nice Bait m8

  • Thanks ordered 4

  • "There has been an error processing your request"

    Hmmm…….

  • -6

Wanted 24 but judging by the comments I'll stick with 8 for now and wait for a cancellation haha

Paid with PayPal and received auto confirmation, now we wait

  • Too good to be true. Not going to bother. Not a deal.

  • +5

Such an obvious price error that’s going to get cancelled lol
Can’t believe people waste their time and fall for this thinking it’s gonna get honoured.
At least the more believable ones like the JBHIFI Apple TV which was down to about $160 I believe from $240 that was honoured is something worth going for.

    • +4

It's not about the hard drive. It's about the thrill. This is probably the most excitement an Ozbargain tragic gets in their lives.

      • Lol yeah spot on

      • +2

Not sure what OzB's want, but I actually like to buy deals I'll actually get.

  • +1

Pricing error from small businesses no chance of being honoured.

  • +4

It’s an obvious price error. Save yourself the time from signing up and waiting on your refund. These computer stores already run on a tight margin, there’s no way they’ll honour it.

      • +5

Actually when you make a purchase you signed off on their T&Cs which covers price errors

      • +3

Actually legally they have to, it's called double jeopardy

        🤣😂

This is your first price error rodeo?

        • -1

          DOUBLE JEOPARDY

      • +1

Let us know how that goes for you, when they cancel their order and you realise you were wrong.

        • I'm in the conference call with them and my lawyers right now. Will keep you updated

      • Clearly, you don't read terms and conditions of sale. Most of the websites explicitly state that they reserve the right to cancel ( sometimes specifically starting price error as one of the valid reasons).
        Double Jeopardy?
        You would enjoy this.
