  • Received a cancellation email as above with refund.

  • I too am subject to a Database error. Oh well was worth a try.

  • Price error, not a deal.

Can we please put a campaign to ban them from OZB? they have been repeating this price error multiple times and imo doing data mining!

Not sure how to raise a ticket to ban all 3 business which end on same account/business to be banned on OZB.

    Can an admin help here?

    • All of the 'pricing error' deals posted so far are were submitted / discovered by regular ozbargain users who happen to be using price scraping sites like PriceHipster, so even if we ban it, it's not really going to stop any random person from posting their findings as a deal. And a blanket ban will also prevent anyone from posting genuine (and obtainable) bargains.

The iTech store rep has not posted anything in years. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/user/45642/nodes. Their last Associated deal post was submitted in 2014.

        no wonder they stopped posting!
        thanks mate for clarification.

        • no wonder they stopped posting!

          What do you mean?

The store rep had not posted previously a pricing error deal?

      • -3

Well. there you go. Last post from store rep in 2014, so it seems these price errors are genuine, not that iTech is trying to data mining OzB members.

If OzB members want to blame, they can blame their fellow OzB members for posting these price error deals here. Maybe mods can put up a warning to all OzB members for trying to post any price error deals here from now on?

  • Confirmed: I-Tech cancellation email has come through.

  • Yes same email here saying database error
    As expected

Worth a try………. My refund came back late last night…….. What dumbasses……

      Who are dumbasses here?

      • Appears to be Graham Johnson

        • You don't play you cant win……… Like the $150 100a/h lithium battery I received that was worth $500….Like I said, worth a try…….

      Cool story bro.

  • Not sure about you guys but since this little 'experiment', I've suddenly been hit by a lot of scammers - random international phone calls and lots of random sms' with dodgy links. Prior to this order, I'd be lucky to get something once a month. Anyone else experiencing this too?

  • Has anyone actually recieved their money refunded as yet from these guys?

    • Paypal wants to earn some interest first. Maybe check later today.

    • +1

Yes. Same day as the cancelled order email.

      • Hmm…when i recieved the cancellation email, the payment was marked as pending. However, subsequently the payment is now confirmed with no refund. I paid using my credit card rather then paypal if that makes a difference.

        • I’m a PayPal guy and all good. In the absence of a CC credit, I’ve sometimes seen the (pending) debit disappear instead
