    The closest Carl Jnr to me makes horrible burgers, they are cold and stale.
    I have got much better burgers from local fish n chips, I would go as far as saying the worst fish n chips burger I have ever had surpasses the local Carl Jnr burgers lol

    I tried them once when they first came, it was okay. Second try was a few months after that and it was already unbearable. Last I tried them was during the lockdown last year as it was the only ship open that wasn't McDonald or Hungry Jack's, and they made me wish I would've just got a Hungry Jack's lol

    They keep getting worse and worse. I don't understand why people still go to them

      Agree 100%, they are so dry they are almost burnt, and have no flavor.

    The burgers here are pretty bad. They came out quick and tasted dry. Wouldn't recommend.

      Only thing I liked were their Milkshakes.

      Rather have a fresh made burger for a few dollars extra.
      Like Little L's. Always great.

    Thanks, want to try them but despite me living less than 10kms from the Melbourne cbd, there are none anywhere near me. Wish they would open some up in more popular areas.

        Yeah I know thanks but I'm the inner east, and that's on the other side. Would take me nearly an hour to get there not to mention horrible parking in the docklands.

    wow, everyone i speak to says they like the burgers. i said they were dry, but no one believes me. glad to see others have tastebuds.

    I got the milkshake and cheeseburger for $5. Definitely the meat was dry, the rest of the burger was okay, I assume it means that there isn't a lot of fat in their patties? The milkshake was average, there wasn't much ice-cream in it.

    On a previous deal I got some free fries and they were nice, so next time I'll try the chili fries.

    Pretty clear consensus that Carl's is average.

    Just checked my local around Sydney, which is Wetherill Park. I guess that's what the locals like out there.

    BTW: Don't recall a Carl's Jr post for a while. I remember there was this guy on Ozbargain who wasn't associated with Carl's but must of been their #1 fan as he posted about Carl's all the time. Wonder how his going :-)

    I remember seeing This is the End.
    when I was in LA I was staying at a hotel, And they had a town car, my last day I wanted to go to Carl's Jr because of the movie.
    They said why not In and out burger. they make way better burgers
    Oh no I have to have Carl's Jr.
    So they took to get Carl's Jr and I must say it was incredibly average haha. I did get a 1Ltr of Cola at the time. I think I got the Black Ops 2 or 3 meal? I never finished the drink. tasted like burger king if anything? I wish I tried In and out burger now…
    Now when I watch This is the End. I'm like Why Carl's Jr haha

      It's not. It's the worst app from a fast food chain. The confusing part is they launched a separate replacement V2 that was not much of an improvement over the original.

    Got this today. It's ok for $5, but definitely would never be paying RRP for it (says saves $5.95 so $10.95 for the burger?!?)
