Long time lurker first time posting. Probably one of the low price if not the lowest.

Was looking at the G Pro X (non super light) for a while which was up for $169 in Amazon Au.

In today's deal in Amazon, saw this one for about the same price.

It's a German Version.

CamelCamelCamel shows it to be the lowest.

Yes last super low was the Shopping Express deal but sold out less than 5mins if I am not mistaken? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/674326

But any catch with this German version?

    • I looked it up in reddit and all I can finds is that just the packaging is in German.

  • +2

It say German Version? What’s the difference to AU stock and seems like SKU is also different?

    • +24

With the German version when you double click incorrectly it will say "Shizen".

      • +2

        I believe it's 'Scheisse' 🤙

    • +2

Other than the packaging looks like the model number for this European version is 910-005880 and the Australian one from Amazon is ‎910-005882. Some European version also has a part number ending with 881 .Logitech Site

      • So is it safe to say that the difference is just packaging and language on the paperwork? In other words the mouse is exactly the same?

        • +1

          Ja.

  • +1

It does not have a infinite wheel, or does it? I really want ONE mouse that can replace both my Master 3 and Orochi v2. btw, this is a good price, op :)

    • +2

I have the AU version and it's not an infinite wheel unfortunately.

      • +4

I would say 'fortunately' because those infinite scroll wheels are heavy, and this mouse is light.

      • Can you scroll tilt with this mouse? I know it doesn’t have scroll tilt but will tilting the scroll wheel activate the middle click?

        • Just checked mine. Tilting it right does activate the middle click.

          • @shabab1103: Is the noise loud when you do it? Do you need alot of force?

            • @Danneo: It barely makes a noise.

Only comparison I can give you is it's about 1/3 of the decibels of a logitech mouse click.

              Also doesn't require much force.

              • @Ausdave: Sweet, cheers man, so excited to finally get this mouse.

    • Also looking for this.

      Any options?

  • +9

    It's a German Version.

    That would be the:

"Logitech G PRO X Superlight Wireless Gaming Maus…"

    • +3

      "Superleichte Drahtlose Spielmaus"

      • Ja das ist es…

  • +1

Been using the non-Superlight version for three years, has been good but is starting to double-click and the pads underneath wear out relatively quick.

Once went through a warranty claim for a headset with Logitech, took over 6 months of providing information including videos of the product not working (Which doesn't make sense for a headset) add to the pain the serial number on my product was smudged from use, so continuously just got "ay please show serial" as I upload my 6th video of a zoomed up smudged serial.

  • Copped one, thanks OP

  • I wish this mouse had more buttons to replace the g502 & g903, weren't the extra assignable buttons the point of gaming mice?

    • Not this one, it's all about keeping it light. All those extra buttons were cut for weight.

    • +2

      For MMO, yes
      For FPS, no

    • So something like Razer Naga Pro?

  • -2

Good luck getting warranty on this as a grey import when it inevitably starts double clicking after a year like every other logitech product.

    • I think a few people ordering this mouse would start to consider replacing micro switches to Omron, kailh, and huanos.

      • how do you manually replace switches on a mouse? seems fragile

        • +1

Soldering, and it's not more fragile than any other PCB.

    • +2

Superlight has new switches and no one has reported double clicking ?

      • I think there have been some reports, but not as many as the 502 Lightspeed etc. I've been using mine heavily for about 6 months with the factory switches and no issues so far.

        • Any double clicking at this point is just actual bad luck broken switches that every company randomly gets. 100% working won't happen even with the best qc

          • @abjsdhasehasee: happened to a g703 i owned, and the warranty replacement, and the g903 i owned, and the warranty replacement of that. I was happy I got them all for free.

            • @Dubsys: and none of those are the superlight or the gpw shroud edition which both have a new d2fc-f-7n(G1) switch along with the 25600 firmware update which increases debounce time and fixes all of the double clicking

  • -2

Why so much for a mouse?

  • The cat approves this mouse.

  • I would avoid personally. For what you pay for, you expect a premium mouse that will last you years. Mine developed the common double clicking issue after less than 2 years and was pretty much un-useable. I bought the mouse after seeing all of the rave reviews on YouTube, however none of them mentioned this as it’s pretty much a long term wear and tear problem for the mouse.

Just google “Logitech G Pro Double Clicking” and you’ll see posts from years to until just days ago from people still having the issue with mice less than 1 year old.

Switched to the Razer Viper Ultimate and have never looked back.

    • +2

Damn so you developed double clicking on a g pro x superlight despite the fact that it released less than 2 years ago. Very interesting

    • "people still having the issue with mice less than 1 year old" ? Get a replacement from Logitech then

    • G pro x or g pro x superlight?

  • I tried to understand why people buy this mouse, I watched a youtube video, but if any ozbargainer can shed some light why this is a good deal other than it is cheapest historically as it is very expensive compare to conventional mouse. My understanding is it is very good when you use it to play shooting games, give you a better control? (I am not a serious gamer)

    • ppl believe they will play better with it, in the end if you are not serious about fps games I wouldn't bother
if you are a pro and want that 0.5% advantage then yes, otherwise no

    • +2

Lighter the mouse the theoretically the better it is, you can start moving and stop moving faster and also makes u feel like u have more control. The superlight is the only mass produced working mouse that is 60g and wireless. The starlight 12 is like 43g and wireless with a magnesium honeycomb shell but it's rare af and only comes in limited drops

      • I mentioned it above but the glorious model o/d wireless are cheaper, usb c and best of all not Logitech lol.

        • Their smallest mouse the mow- is 65 grams, honeycomb with worse battery life for 145 vs 168 here, obvious choice I hope

    • +4

Because the Logitech Lightspeed mice have virtually zero latency, which is great.

They also have really long battery life, compared to some other wireless mouse.

Some people like the Logitech G Hub software for how configurable it is.

If you try to move a 1KG weight across your desk, left to right, imagine how long it takes to start getting that weight moving, and then to stop it again.

Now that’s being dramatic, but the difference between a 60g mouse and a 90g mouse is noticeable, and the closer you can get to your bare hand movement, the faster and more precise you will be.

It’s not worth it for anyone that doesn’t game seriously, and this is kind of a last stop after you’ve already geared up your PC to get over 200fps in your games of choice, and assuming you already have a 170hz+ monitor.

You won’t see any benefits from this if you’re trying to play PubG at 1080P with a 1060 on a 60hz monitor. It’s not for that market.

It’s for the high end, people chasing the last few %.

      • I guess it is like athlete who buy the premium suit for swimming or running.

      • BTW, looks like there are lots of serious gamers on ozbargain, but they should be as it is quite costly to buy premium equipment without good discount.

      • I been gaming hardcore in FPS games and already in Logitech environment for most of my peripheral so G Hub is very convenient like you said

        • G hub is ass, logitech memory manager is 10x better

          • @abjsdhasehasee: yeah, i love the old software, so less bullshit, now even logitech does it.
until G703 has a superlight version, I have no reason go back to it.

  • +1

Saw this independently, came here to check previous low price, and the deal was already here. Great community! Picked one up, good work OP.

    • Thanks! Cheers on the new mouse.

  • +1

Thanks Op managed to get one, hopefully arrives before the stated 3rd Feb delivery date. I keep seeing this German version cheap but I haven't bothered getting it from overseas due to delivery delays until now.

My current razer mamba hyperflux is wearing out and shiny, both right and left rubbers keep falling off despite more and more superglue being applied. I'll apply more superglue to the razer and wait for this to arrive.

Also to answer some of the questions above, if you aren't a gamer or someone that needs a really light mouse to deal with wrist issues, this particular mouse probably isn't worth it for you.

    • Cheers! I bought a Logitech g Pro X headset from Amazon UK once and it arrived before the ETA, yet Amazon gave me $5 credit because it was late. So pretty happy Amazon customer here.
