  I'm confused on the price.

  Amazon shows RRP of $56 which appears to be way higher than other lamps of a similar nature.

  Anybody got any insight into these?

    Yeah, its called dodgy (most likely Chinese) sellers with dodgy drop shipped products.
    Amazon is the wild west where anything goes. RRP for a no name brand is whatever they bloody well want.
    If making up rrp at least make it a humorous one like $69.69.
