        Yes, since it's a WiFi camera, not a battery one, it needs to be wired in for power all the time. And also yes, the camera comes with an AU power adapter.

  I've got one of these and it's a great camera, solid build, excellent value (has been cheaper though). However be mindful the wifi antennae can restrict movement and placement.

  anyone got experience running these wifi units against some comparable wifi models from Eufy or Arlo? (with the base station recording, obv not with local SD recording)
  Specifically, in regards to the 'delay' from camera activation to recording start .. i've had a bugger of a time with that, tinkering with some Arlo units. Am thinking of throwing in the wifi convenience for PoE units (incl some Reolink items that come recommended), but the cabling hassle is a sticking point.
  If this RL wifi unit has some positive reports from the community, it might save me some cabling trouble…. thanks in advance!

    We've just setup some Reolink Argus 2 cameras and they appear to be responding and recording quickly especially given that they are battery powered and only on the 2.4Ghz band unlike these ones which are wired and do 5Ghz as well. There is a delay but it's not bad, even when looking at four streams at once.

    No, currently the model doesn't support Reolink Cloud but you can store videos in the SD card or Reolink NVR if you have one.
