Any New PC Case Recommendations? - Budget $150

Hi All.

Admittedly, I'm a bit lazy to research for a case but I am having cooling issues from a lack of fans / my computer sometimes shuts down when the case is touched (e.g. - taking out an 3.5mm cord to plug into my work laptop) and it is getting ridiculous.

I am using a micro-ATX case - Thermaltake H70 (lesson learnt, don't buy a cheap case). Looking for something in a similar form factor that can fit my Radeon 6700 XT and willing to spend ~$150 for a new case. Further, is there something I can use to keep my computer case off the carpet? Does that help with cooling?

Why do you need a micro form factor if it's going on the ground anyway? Easiest solution would be to go with a larger case.

    • still feels cluttered

  • "my computer sometimes shuts down when the case is touched" - might be a motherboard issue.
"Further, is there something i can use to keep my computer case off the carpet?" - yeah, a desk

I have the TT S100 Snow. No issues with mine. Its cheap because no rubber grommets, not all vents have mesh, etc.

    • cheers - i suspect its a mobo issue too.
but figure i'd better be safe than sorry if i'm going to have to unbolt my mobo from this case anyway rather than change it again later!

  • Take the PC to the local computer store and get them to fix it as you may not have the skills to replace the case if you can't fix the existing problem.

If your lazy then what do you expect as I am the same in helping with the case, but not the real issue.

I'm too lazy to help lazy people

  • You used more words in this pointless post than i'd need to use to find recommendations on the internet.
You're not lazy you're just dumb.
