  • I have one of these for Sale in Brisbane on FB Marketplace if anyone is interested.
Only used once. Cut not low enough for me

    • Dude, take it back!

Tell bunnings it isn't up to the standard you thought it was and you aren't satisfied with the product.

Should honour the 30 day satisfaction.

  • I know I'm late to the party, but much prefer my 3 year old plastic 2x18 Ozito mower. For my small yard it's much lighter to navigate around and get a better cut closer to the edges so less line trimming required. This would be good for a larger yard which requires more up and back, straight line cutting.

Question for those who know, why was my catcher virtually empty of grass clippings? On my old Ozito it would have been full…I can't figure out where the grass went 🤔

Did you take the mulcher plug out before you used it?

      • No 😞Thanks.

Does anyone notice there is a horizontal metal bar connected to the back wheels and is about 20 cm from ground? It digs into the grass and prevents the mower from self-propelling. The back wheels spin but the mower is stationary.

yeah. Especially when catch is near full. I return mine. Battery does not have enough juice to mow my backyard. On my buffalo lawn it struggle to propel. This was at 5 setting. I try first with catcher then mulcher. It was easier to push when using the side hatch.

    • This. 1000x this.
Bar gets lower on higher cut height settings, making it even worse. It's like a bloody anchor.
Disappointed. Wonder if the nonself propelled had the same issue

      • I think it's counter-intuitive with the higher the cut settings, the lower the bar goes. LOL. I returned mine.

Yeh same returned mine. Had a look at all the mowers out on display, none of them have the same issue.
Clearly ozito didn't double check their work when they redid the rear axle for the self propel mechanics.
Hopefully the next version will be better

"…metal bar connected to the back wheels and is about 2 cm from ground?"

      • Yes, I was trying to type 20 mm. What I meant was 2 cm. Thanks for pointing this out.

    • Just got home and had a look. If the cutting height is 3 or lower the bar will lift up and won't be a hinderance but definitely settings 4 to 6 will be a drag :) Looks like my cutting height will be set at 3 permanently.

Not bad but it really struggles with my 4 week since last cut buffalo lawn. Battery did not last my 200sq. This is at level 5 setting and mulching plug. Mulching is pretty good and clean. The side hatch is useless. The manual does say you have to replace the blade every 2 years or 50 hours of mowing. So need to take that account. It is also a pain to fold the handle into storage/cleaning position and back again. If you have a slight slop lawn expect back wheel spin. You not meant to hose to clean it need scrapper and air blower.

This is the beast! I have the other PXC steel deck, not as powerful, and have no problems with it - but will still buy this one. Higher rpm, etc. Only caution: mine has min cutting height of 25mm, which is just enough, this has 30mm.

Just picked up the last unit of my local store - pretty heavy to push but with the self walk function it is a joy to work with, but if I want to keep fit I'll just push it around

Plenty of cutting power and it holds 4 batteries.. never runs out of juice !

  • Unfortunately adding mine to the "does not cut low enough" list. Going to take it back to Bunnings tonight. :(

My 8 or 9 year old Ryobi 36V cuts way lower than this, guess I'll stick with it for a bit longer.

  • Returned mine after two rounds of cutting. 100m2 of grass, not sure what type but thick. Struggled to move on the highest setting and repeatedly stalled. Once that was done, i charged up the batteries and the next day went at it again 2 levels lower. Still struggled and stalled here and there, but overall wasn't impressed and felt like i was wasting too much time getting it going again.

Going to give the Ego line a try but not hopeful. Returned a few electric lawn mowers now to Bunnings…

  • Picked up the last one on the coast yesterday. Unpacked it today and the handle is bent. Bummed.

  • I did a comparison of the 19kg Ozito PXC Steel deck (PXBSDMK-4182, LHS in pics) vs the latest 30kg beast (PXSPSDMK-4182), today. The older/lighter one def cuts much lower, though the larger one feels sturdier and less trouble with grass. That spacer on gumtree may be way to go to get best of both worlds. • Returned the 31kg beast last weekend. I tried my best to love the beast but he was too difficult to push on my grass, ended up with blisters on both thumbs, self propelling didn't help 50% of the time and just too heavy for me to transport to other properties.
