[Pre Order] EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 KO Ultra Gaming 6GB GDDR6 Graphics Card $699 Delivered @ PLE

39

Not bad considering 80% of the performance of a RTX3060. Furthermore, there is a 1.1% cash back for all items in PLE:

https://www.shopback.com.au/ple-computers

Plus free shipping.

It’s even stock overclocked (1755 mhz vs 1680 mhz). Essential only 15% slower than RTX 3060.

I know ppl have seen RTX 3060 @ $729 last month, but it cost $25 for the shipping, plus the 1% PLE discount, we are looking at this card being approx 10% cheaper than RTX 3060.

you dont realise how bad the market is until you see stuff like this - i bought a 2060 about 4 years ago for under $450 and its now a "deal" at $699

  • +8

But with deals on the 3060 coming up regularly at $729, wouldn't you pay the extra $20 for 25% more performance?

    • +5

      I'd rather a 2060 and four coffee's thanks.

i prefer a $699 coffee machine and stuck with 3400G APU for another 2 years

    • Those were for single fan small cards. Don't know the performance difference but apparently they do get hot and noisy.

      • Even if you undervolted / downclocked one it would still absolutely demolish this card.

        • Oh I thought these were supers. They are not. Terrible deal.

    • Yeah but with $25 shipping (was the last time I saw it). Plus it was some random brands. This is EVGA ggggg.

      • Even with $25 shipping I would still take it over this. That's still ~6.5% more in price for 25% more in perf (I've taken your word on the performance difference). They were Gainward cards if I recall, not really a random brand in my books. But I guess others may feel differently.

  • A bit dodgy that they don't make it clear whether this is NOS or a "refurb".

  • This is like selling a 1986 Toyota Camry ''Twin Cam'' in the year 2000 for $30,000

Paid $639 delivered for a Sapphire 6600XT 8GB and i thought i was getting ripped off. Wouldn't pay a single $1 more for anything slower.

  • This is a joke post right?
The 3060 cards have been around this price or little more lately.
The ray tracing is so much better on the 3000 series

    • Very true, but I bet lots will still worship this 2060 like god!

  • Nup. As said above, a 3060 is far better "value" (and I use that term VERY loosely in these times).

    Not a deal imo.

I’d be willing to wager if a 3050 comes out it’ll be cheaper and better then this card here

      • Its on the way and has 8gb of vram

        • Sweet. I wonder if it’ll be bus powered like the 1050

  • It’s not even the “new” 12GB version (not that it would be worth it for this price anyway)

  • +2

I don’t want to discourage you OP so please don’t take the negative votes and comments personally. Ozbargain has a habit of coming down hard on newbies so thanks for trying and better luck next time

  • Imagine paying 699 for a 2060 rtx in 2022…

  • Limit 1 per household

    I'll take 12 units for $666ea, cash.

    ROI 2Y.

  • Had to run my eyes to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Might have made sense if 3060, but a 2060? This is Hella confusing.

    Get a 3060..

  • I thought this was a title error for a 3060 and was about to celebrate. The GPU market is absolutely hot dog shit atm. My GTX 960 will need to keep going for a while longer.

  • As ridiculous as this is. If you check sold ebay listings for 2060's, people are buying second hand ones for $600+. Just insane lol.

  • These old turing cards are simply for mining and represent poor value.

  • Even for mining wouldn't it be better to use a 3060 and above to mine?

I am more interested that ple is on shopback. Damn would have helped with the prices. Ah cashrewards too, I really should have checked.
