I didn't know i needed a HDMI switcher, but now that I know what one is I do. OzB always here to help thanks :)

    • I presume this is only needed for TV's, monitor's, projectors, etc that only have one/ two built-in HDMI inputs.

WFH and I prefer single monitor setup. Need to toggle between my gaming rig and work laptop :)

        Not really.

If you have a multimedia cabinet that sits in a distance with multiple video sources in it (like gaming consoles, smart TV boxes and etc), then running just one single HDMI cable to your TV/project is way nicer than connect everything to the display.

I have been using something similar for many years (6-in, 2-out), and the one that I used comes with Toslink port for audio out as well, so that goes into my DAC then to my stereo set-up, only video signal feeds to the TV.

        • Just the answer I was looking for…was wanting to create a media room soon so just learnt the best way to connect the projector.

  • Is there any difference between this and a branded one?

  • Reviews look very mixed.

Photos from reviews are for a different product as well.

    Buyer Beware

  • Not KVM switch - no USB ports. I got this one https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B089F8Z3CM and it kinda works .. every second time, lol. Keeping still as no sane alternatives

  • Only issue with this is you miss features such as VRR, ALLM, etc. It may increase the input lag as well.
