also this is a 2 year australian manufacturers warranty.
all of the cheaper shops such as Photobuff, Apeshop etc, sell grey imports, not covered by australian manufacturers warranty, and nor do you get the cashback.
i would be a bit worried about buyin somethin so expensive and so prone to problems, and not being covered by an australian warranty.

Actually if you search around using price comparison engine (here is an example from ShopBot for D40X + standard lens), you will see that you can get D40X at an even lower price than ECS + cashback.
Unless if the cashback is directly from Nikon, then you can get the camera from a cheaper shop and get the cashback as well. However I can't seem to find any relevant information at Nikon's site.
