6x 3080L can pamp out the same hash power as 12x 1080TI at 67% of the Watts.
$2,000 is a bargain in terms of Mh/s per W.

Are you saying that people leave their $1,000 GPU idle for 23hr instead of using it to recoup the cost?

@rektrading: Yes. Not everyone is a freaking crypto miners. I switch my PC off when not using it, not leaving it on in idle most of the day.
@aveeno bb: A normal workday is 9 to 5 or 8hr. That is 16hr of lost productivity.
A miner works 24/7/365 days a year. It makes money while the owner is at work, eating, sleeping, playing sports, laying pipe, etc.
It's the perfect worker that never takes breaks or complains.
It's so easy to make money that even children can do it.
