  • I'm still rocking 3 from this deal in 2017 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/334084
Might go get a few more as they have been pretty good.

  • Thoughts on splinting one in half, bolting em side by side, and chucking a slab of ply on top to turn it into a work bench?

    • For light duty crafts. Couldn't imagine it being sturdy enough for any more

    • If you bolt two together length wise and use angle brackets for the solid worktop (not plywood) it should make a sturdy workbench

  • Plenty of stock left at Southport Bunnings. Picked up 3 last night.

They fit perfectly (sideways) in the back of my Suzuki Swift.

  • Thoughts about this as MDF banned in the US - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medium-density_fibreboard

    • Paint the shelves, or ventilate the area often. It's more of an issue in living areas, and sadly most furniture using MDF and other man made glue based woods are not being sealed.

  • These look better as galvanised steel with shelf support bars but only a bargain if you live in the area around Newcastle NSW https://www.wholesalesuperstore.com.au/boltless-shelving-uni…

  • What about the one from Kmart?
    Anyone has used that?
    Any feedback please

    • Not sure if Kmart sell these shelves, link?

      • +1

        Probably this.

Looks like the same kind of ones Stratco sells. I don't rate them. The Montgomery are better and cheaper.

        • Kmart one has additional metal support for each shelf. Is this a new product coming to Kmart? The $99 garage shelf, the bigger one already has one 5 star review.

          • +1

@htc: Yeah, the Stratco ones also have additional support too.
They feel more flimsy to me though. Kmart may be different, but look the same.

  • Not a lot around Western side Melbourne. Altona says 6 in stock but noone could find them. Plenty (2 pallets) at Hoppers Crossing though if anyone is still looking.
