  • Title needs fixing, 250/50 instead of 250/25

    • doesnt seem right

      • it was 250/50 and needed to be 250/25, its been changed now

Discount stacks with the Quarterly Reward coupon so can get $35 off $250, $60 off $500.

    • Looks like the IKEA reps get butt-hurt when people point out their history of providing discounts/vouchers that aren't actually redeemable.

That combined with the major price jack, followed by minor discount makes this a non-deal and a merchant with major issues.

      This but un-ironically.

  • if you buying one item for $1500 can you ask the operator to break this up so you can get discounts :)

    • they did…..

  • Wish this deal was around when I did my kitchen a few years ago, could have saved a few hundred dollars.

Maybe time for a new kitchen?

    • +1

Read above comment. Not valid on kitchens

    • The deal excludes kitchen cabinets and kitchen electrical items

  • Not good as last december? deal

  • Good deal. Shame they’re out of stock on a sofa I want.

IKEA online ordering is absolutely pathetic. Recently ordered some batteries and it took like 6 weeks. Received multiple orders from USA and China much quicker.

Their click and collect is pretty woeful too. Takes a few days notice (when it should take hours) and you have to book in exactly when you're going to collect, eg 5 to 7 pm window in 2 days time (instead of just turning up). That might make sense for really large items like a sofa or bed, but not for smaller items / standard flat pack items (which is most of what they sell).

Mostly I just want to avoid coming into contact with lots of people, and to avoid the extended rat maze layout of their store. Ideally they would have a drive thru collection (outdoors but will rain cover overhead) with 2 hours notice. Pay online, get text msg when ready to collect, drive there, show ID, chuck in boot, drive away. Not too much to ask in a pandemic, surely? Unfortunately they don't (at least at my local one they don't).

  • Just broke my office chair yesterday and looking to buy this one ..can anyone who owns one comment if it will be good for everyday work about 8 hours comfortable and ergonomic ?

  • Annoying it excludes kitchen hobs as I need a new Induction cooktop and the Ikea one looks ideal :(

Bugger I was planning to stock up on meatballs!

  • all their prices went up post boxing day, i was looking at the pax stuff, prices are up 20% for the frames etc.

    • they announced this would be happening back in November

    • phew lucky we bought the PAX before that then.

  • btw, looks like click and collect is $5 fee.

  • Hi guys,

I'm intending to purchase some stuff from ikea. Would I be able to use my ikea gift card via shopback and get the $50 off if I have membership?

    • Hi I just bought $505 worth of items (discounted to $455) and pay with Ikea gift cards from Suncorp. Shopback ones should work the same way.
