  • How do I get an edu email? This would be perfect for my home office

    • If you know anyone who is in school/high school/university/TAFE or works in education… could always ask them to order it for you?

He said he can help people get access.

  • This will work fine with USB-C?

  • What would be a good compatible dock for the recently sold out 3070 legion 7?

    • Depends on what you will use it for?

      • Running two screens, cad, Photoshop, gaming.

        • This dock should be fine with 99% of things that normal users could possibly throw at it, so definitely it will handle all of your needs.
But something cheaper might also work, say if you are just running dual 1080P at 60Hz.
Also mind that, I think this dock has 100W charging through TB4, which is powerful enough for all ultrabook or normal laptops, but might be a bit short for Legions.

          • @NothingButPoor: Online sales chat said it's not compatible with legion 7i, and if I needed more clarification to contact tech support.

            • @LurvinOZB: Ohh what? Legion 7i got TB4, this is a TB4 dock, how they are not compatible?

  • I have 2 of these and can't get 2x4k 27in monitors to run over 30hz. And the top it off one of them randomly flickers until I change the refresh rate to something else….
Others on the internet and I have tried everything to fix it with no success. I'm running a new XPS 15 with TB4.

    • Jumped on this thread late. I confirm similar limitations. I came from a Dell TB3 dock 2016 model which could handle 3xQHD @ 60hz.

Now I've spent about 2 hours I'm faffing about trying to get the same config to work but the best I can get is 2 @ 60Hz and 1 @ 30Hz. I just bought a Lenovo laptop with TB4 and was hoping it would just play nice but definitely regret getting this. Might sell it and wait for a Dell TB4 at a reasonable price.

  • How long do these deals generally last?

    • The back to school promo say it ends on the 8th Feb, so you have a while.

  • is 100w pd enough to power a gaming laptop with an AC adapter power of 230w?

  • Just a warning these aren't back in stock until the end of April, I ordered one a few days ago and was contacted with a delivery date of May 5th. I've cancelled the order.

    • My ETA is showing February 23, 2022 on the order confirmation e-mail…bought yesterday…Money has been debited from card.

Just bought this one for $248.41 using the coupon above.

    • Oooooh thanks, since I haven't been charged for mine I'll try contact them to get a price reduced. Or cancel and re-order. Damn site doesn't let you cancel it.

  • My expected to ship date just moved to 1st July with an expected delivery of 12 July. The initial delivery was 23 Feb. Is anyone else seeing something similar?
