Someone else posted this in the previous deal

    Xiaomi G10 pre-order for $350:

  • Don't buy the V7 if you use the powered brush. It fails just before warranty or soon after, power cable has a design failure where it bends at a too sharp angle when using and inevitably fails. Cannot avoid or work around. Happened to me twice (original and replacement under warranty) and at least a friend.

Also replaced battery (weak) and main bin assembly (coupling broke, original AND replacement) under wty. Normal use, once a day clean of kids mess.

Although a fragile and limited life product, can't fault Dyson service though. Just expect a $400 product last more than 2y.

    Btw has been cheaper before.

Shame, my V6 has been going for 5+ years, original battery, use it nearly every day

Original battery after 5 years of every day use that's lucky.

I've gone through a battery nearly yearly to 1.5 years max at which it has either failed or doesn't hold much charge left.

My theory is that the increased number version doesn't mean a "new" or improved product - I think the v7 is the "cheap" dyson

      • Yeh touch wood my v6 has been going strong for 5 years as well! I do take care of it and take it apart to get all the hair and stuff out to keep it from clogging. I want to get another one for upstairs but after reading some of these comments!
