    we love the look!

Samsung's glad there's finally a person (a couple?) who likes that look.

    • Having joked a little, I say this has been the best price.

Looks a bit silly. Lol. Sorry.

Buying a tv just for the looks and not panel quality is very odd, I had one of these at a Holiday home and it's pretty average panel, the smart software was pretty terrible and laggy it looked like a kids whiteboard

  • Great deal and a sensational tv. Highly recommend I have the 43 version and always a talking point

Pretty sure that this has been the lowest ever price for this TV. And pretty sure that's the whole point of OzBargain. It's been an extremely popular TV. I believe this is at least the 4th generation. Someone out there is buying it!
Some people are bored with the same old design of slim bezels, thin frames and a big massive black box. This TV might suit them.

    • I doubt it's an "extremely popular TV" and "4th gen". Any sources re this? Frame is already a niche product and Serif, while surely "always a talking point" as mentioned in another comment (who wouldn't notice a thick white TV on an easel?), has to be even more of a niche, so just be aware of your bubble here.

Defs seems like the lowest price and that's the point here, so despite my jokes, it's great that you posted it.

Couldn't really be bothered digging deeper, because I'm not interested in trying to get you to like this style of TV. That's your choice for sure! It absolutely has its drawbacks, I wish it had FALD, MiniLed etc. But it's main feature is it's "Hamptons Style" design, which produces polarising opinions, yep.
But clearly, this article, dated December 2018, talks about previously released models from a previous iteration, so this TV was maybe at least first released in 2017, one would think? So someone is buying it. One would think.
I, for one, am glad Samsung produces this TV, and I'm not alone, clearly.
And yep, it's a good price.
