  Ugh, poly-cotton. I'd rather just get '400TC' cotton from Kmart, from $20 for single fitted sheet (although limited colours, particularly online).

    For sure. Poly in sheets is yuck. It feels like you're sleeping on a plastic mattress protector. Do yourself a favour and go with pure cotton.

    Yeah, sweat city for me if it is poly-cotton. Staying well clear of this, plenty of 100% cotton from Target & Kmart.

    I've bought a few of the 1000/1200 TC 100% Egyptian cotton fitted sheets from eBay. They usually go for $27 (1000) to $35 (1200) with discounts.

    No idea if they're Egyptian cotton or not but they are soft and no complaints at all (had my first sheet for about a year, bought a second recently).
