Do I need any more headphones?
No, but I love Taotronics headphones so much I feel like adding these to my collection.

  • Valentines Day present sorted for my husband. Thank you OP

from what i can see the srhyrhythms are more like the bh-085 while this deal is more like the bh-090. i bought the bh085 and love them as they are much lighter than these. But im thinking of buying these too to use for the desktop

  • NOT relevant but kinda related question; does anyone know or can recommend noise cancelling headphones that can also be used for sleep (dare I say even if they don't play music - most have some white noise or grey noise function) and are light/ stay fit on head when wearing overnight during sleep and truly work well

    • +1

There's a few available on Indiegogo. I tried a cheap Mycozi headband from Amazon and returned it. The speakers didn't sit on my ears and weren't comfortable for a side sleeper like myself.

      • Thanks for reply; pending returns it's a trail and error thing isn't it just… :/

Wouldn't wireless earphones be better in your situation? Headphones seem a bit too bulky to sleep with them on imo

      • I dare say they might fall out; the ones with the "band" that kinda wraps around the ears like a hearing aid and the strap around the back of the head is an idea. However i feel the "cup" model would be able to cancel out more noise as it sits over the whole ear itself.

        • Alright, whatever works for you then. If you sleep on the back of your head, it makes sense, otherwise it would be absolutely impossible for me to sleep with headphones on.

          • @Zackeroo: The might be an investion for Elon musketeer to come up with… Snooze X :p

            • +2

@100KK: I use the Bose SleepBuds II. Expensive, but bloody good, and work for side sleepers

              • @Doy: Well there you go, looks like Elon doesn't need to get of his Doge throne, Bose already got it covered

              • @Doy: Thanks for suggestion; I fall asleep on my side too. I'll definitely keep them on a shortlist to research / buy.

                • @100KK: Bose do a 90 day money back guarantee, definitely worth a trial!

            • @100KK: Nice, Snooze X HAHAH

Honestly I feel like any small wireless in-ear earbuds will do. Elon could definitely rack up a few sales with that, but imo this is quite a niche use case

              • @Zackeroo: As far as falling asleep with them I agree it’s a niche BUT as far as total comfort and no risk of falling out while laying any way you want, I suspect the market would be absolutely huge.

                • @HeelTaker: Well yea… But these buds are clearly aimed towards people sleeping with them, so yes, they will be very niche - regardless of how comfy they may be.

It's like how sport earphones are only really bought by people who actually do sport - even tho they are really awesome at sticking onto your ear and can be used for other purposes

    • I advice you not to wear headphone/headset for sleep, it increase temperature in your ear canals and lock in humidity, it can cause ear infection.

  • Thanks op was looking for one didn't realised that taotronics was banned from amazon

    • +2

      Oh what? Why?

      • Most of their reviews were inflated with fake or paid 5*reviews, further promoting their equipment

        • +1

Sad really considering they have good headphones for the money. They don't really need to inflate the review.

I bought 1 for my son the fakeme with the same price it basically taotronics they don't even bother to change the logo. For 50 bux nothing can beat it, I have some some free wired one from my previous work that cost more than that and feel cheap and sound rubbish.

  • Would these connect to two devices at the same time? i.e. my PC and phone?

    • +1

Sadly no, you can buy 1 for your pc and 1 for you phone and mostlikely still cheaper and better than other headphones

  • HI

Sorry guys, when I clicked the DEAL button , it takes me to the Amazon AU and the price is $ 79.99 not what you said $ 49.99
Any code I need to enter at all??

    Cheers

You tick the coupon box under the price to save $30. Then checkout as normal

      • +2

I’m only getting a $15 coupon for the Heifi listing, which brings the price down to $64.99.

The Fakeme listing has a higher starting price, but the 40% of coupon brings it down to $53.99.

        • Seems to have changed now. It was definitely $30 coupon before for heifi listing.

        • Good catch, definitely lessened the disappointment of the original coupon changing to 15 bucks off and picked up a pair of the FAKEMEs.

          Thaaank ya for that.

  • OP, what's Fakeme?

  • Can I use them with with my tv

    • Yes you can connect through Bluetooth.

  • Bought one. Thanks OP.

  • Are these comfortable?
