Well I've had game pass for free since 2019, last charge was USD $1.00 on May 21, 2019. So maybe that's the reason. I'm good for another 15 months anyway.

Yeah i have to cancel it through telstra. The link is sent to your email after taking this offer. And you can cancel immediately and the benefit is still there.
I redeemed this a week ago. My account says I have “1 month of Telstra game pass” but whenever I try to use my account it asks me to join game pass.
I was also able to get 3 months binge and 1 month Foxtel

EDIT- Found it, had to open and close 'Manage Subscription' a few times. Weird.I had a a week left on my game pass, it added a month from today to it. I managed to cancel no issues

Just do the $1 3 month deal if you’re scared you won’t like it. Otherwise with a vpn a years worth of ridiculous value is only <45 aud away
given this is through telstra what happens to your existing subscription with ms if you redeem this?

I had a couple of months remaining on my existing Game Pass Sub (expires March 2022) and I have been able to redeem this deal.
But now in my Microsoft account 'Services & subscriptions' it says Game Pass Ultimate is 'Purchased from Telstra'. I followed the 'Manage' link and I've cancelled it on Telstra's end, but it hasn't updated in the Microsoft profile. I can't see any updated expiry date, etc.
Anyone else having this issue?

Yeah my telstra subscription page said i would be charge in 1st march. So i cancelled that. I think telstra don't have any info on our GPU subs. E.g. mine was October 2024, after taking this deal, it extended to November 2024. So i think your sub that you paid for is still there for you to use. You can double check your xbox game pass app for the expired date

Thank you for this. I was confused at first what is happening when I redeemed the code and turns out telstra will be billing you separately which I assume after march 1 2022 even if your game pass sub from microsoft expires beyond that (eg. mine is august 2024).
If you redeem this, are you then ineligible for the $1 for 3 months deal?
