  • These things seem to fail every two years. I’ve had two of them now. Super powerful when they work and the accessories are great. YMMV on durability but I’m on the Vitamix train now because the motors kept burning out

    • I have been using mine for last 4 years. Hasn’t missed a bit.
The one I have is old model with salad chopper blades.

  • Bumped upvote was meant to be neg 299 is retail. Just look at the 6 other stores that have them in Google or you can even see 2 listed in the other buying options section on the catch page. Barely a deal…

  • I used to have Ninja and it died after 2 years, got the Vitamix e310 and it’s just so much better to use… And comes with 5 year warranty

    • The Ninjas use the cheapest, nastiest bearings. I've had to replace the blades on mine about 3 or 4 times. They class them as a consumable part that you need to buy/replace at least every year.. it's just so they can get more money out of customers. It would cost them less then $1 to use something that would last.

  • My Auto-IQ 1000W has been going strong for 6 years with daily use. I have had to replace the blades a few times as they seized, but you can get cheap aftermarket replacement blades off eBay or Amazon. The key to longevity with these is to not overfill. If you overfill it stresses the motor which you can hear as the pitch changes. Also, rinse the lid immediately after use. If you let it dry it's very difficult to remove the o-ring to clean without damaging it.

    • I've had to replace the blades a number of times. They could easily fix it if they chose to, but they just want people to keep paying.

  • I bought one of these last month and used it once and now the lid is broken and won't stay locked (which it has to be to turn on) - their solution was for me to hold the lid down and then maybe after time it will fix itself. Google shows this a common issue.
If I wasn't avoiding leaving the house atm I would have returned it already.
