  • Does this have the scrollwheel sound and sensitivity issue that the MX Master 3 has?

    • +2

I have 2 MX master 3 and they have non of these issues

        This video shows the noise:

        https://youtu.be/crKWeB6S73g

It's quite loud, loud enough to annoy people in another cubicle.

        • On my mx 2 it was loud and my g502 hero it is unbearably loud enough to annoy a whole floor, but so far I haven't had these issues on mine or my misses MX master 3 (touch wood)

@DrunkTechSupport: I think I remember on my original MX master, it was loud but it went away.

But I don't know what's up with the MX Master 3, if for example you got a good copy, and I just had bad luck and returned it.

            • @bjt: I went and tried another, it seems that the mouse is less loud if it's turned on and charged, and the magnets then put the wheel in the correct place.

  • Love this mouse!

Good mouse. I've been using this for almost a year, the cool thing is I can even use this mouse on a glass. It's light and suits my claw grip style with a small hand and short fingers.

  • This or razer orochi v2

    • My MX is getting a tired left-click button, so I ordered a Orochi instead. Haven't got it yet, but it was half the price of the MX and have heaps of good reviews.

      • hopefully. i am still waiting for mine since my mx anywhere 2 dying soon

These are good, but the price is just not reflecting what you get. It is a solid mouse, but not $100 worth.

  • $33

  • wait for m650

If this was $60-$70 instant buy. But a bit too high at this price.

    • True. A lot of greed is one of the reasons logitech mice are this expensive. I bought one in 2014 for $37.

  • If you got one of them new M1 Macs, the Logitech software doesn't work on it.

    • MX Keys and G Pro works on my M1 Macbook with Logitech software.

For those with bigger hands, refrain from buying this and just get a MX Master 3.
I had one of these supplied by work and being at a desk for a good part of the day would leave me cramping in the hand.

    • Conversely if you have smaller hands the MX Master 3 is quite tall toward the back. Which means if you palm grip your wrist no longer can touch the mouse mat and it feels like you are riding the mouse around. I have to return my MX Master 3 (I really did not want to) for this very reason.

Funnily enough the gamer mice G502 I find the most comfortable. Same shape as the Mx Master 3 just not as tall.

  • Would get one but my old MX Anywhere 2S is still working great. Daily office use for years now.

MX Anywhere is a great mouse, unless you have super large hands. But, MX Anywhere 2 was frequently put on sale at less than $50, so why would anyone pay twice that for a version 3 that looks and feels essentially the same. The only draw for me is USB C but that is not worth the additional $50.
