    Lunch sorted, thanks 👌

The promo pic looks like the Coke and Fries are medium/large size. 🤔

In reality, the Big Mac is no larger than my palm.

    • false image advertising 😂 sadly it’s a small fries/drink

      • +6

DEFO A SMALL BAG WHICH IT COMES IN

      • +2

        Come on guys

You are getting 2 burgers, fries and coke for less than the cost of a big mac

Its getting hard to find a burger anywhere for 6 bucks let alone all this

Admittedly its all crap but anyway

        • it’s a good deal I can’t lie, I said sadly only in response to the original comment. the deal is still good

    • +2

Definitely some dodgy perspective work going on. White paper = small, red cardboard = medium/large.

    • Paper bag always means the small size. I agree that the photoshopping makes the size looks deceptive.

    • +2

      Fries are medium/large size.
      in a paper bag

This man does not McDonald's fries.

  • +1

    Amazeballs

  • +5

About time after waiting for 2 months for a decent deal. I hope this is only the start.

    • +7

I've had numerous $4 small cheeseburger meal + cheeseburger deals on multiple accounts over the last few months

      • +3

I only ever get hash brown deals lol

      • Me too. $4 is what this should cost.

        • Oops, I thought this was the cheeseburger meal with a extra chees burger. My bad.
          $6 is aok.

    • This is not a particularly good deal.

The standard deals are actually a fair bit better.

(You can get $5 big mac + chesseburger small meal, $4 chesseburger + chesseburger small meal, $1 medium coffee, $1 chesseburger, $2 big mac, $1 large fries, 25% off)

    1990s prices

    • 1890's prices

      • Time travelling Ruski.

  • +4

I only eat this shit about once a year, so maybe today's the day.

  • MINE EXPIRES 6TH FEB

      Username checksout

  • +10

Finally a deal, last 2 months has always been hash browns every single week.

    • What's with that, small coffee with 2 x hash browns.

I think they want you to buy a sausage/bacon muffin at RRP, which is about the same price as a normal muffin meal = no deal.

    • +3

      get some more accounts dude…

  • -7

    McDonald’s is poverty food.

    • +4

      This is OzBargain after all?

    • +3

      McDonald’s is poverty food.

Yes. You're entitled to your opinion.

    • +4

      Someones rich!

$6 for half lunch is not cheap

      • +2

If 2 burgers, fries and a drink is a half lunch for you, you have bigger problems than Maccas.

        • How is maccas a problem?
Only if you eat too much.

        • +2

Because they are burgers for ants.
They need to be at least three times this big…

          • @Tiggrrrrr: This meal is ~4500kJ and that’s with a diet drink. It’s already around half the average recommended daily kilojoule intake.

If you think it needs to be three times as big, you have bigger problems – probably literally!

    • definitely not poverty prices …my family of 4 can’t get out for under $50-$60

  • +4

First half decent deal for quite some time. Probably since the $5 Double Beef and Bacon Meal got taken away.

    • +9

$5 Double Beef and Bacon Meal got taken away.

Everyone plz pour some out for this great loss.

      RIP in peace.

      • I'd love to, but it's only a small Coke.

  • +1

    Randomly got 4 offers.
    This expiring 6th Feb
$1 medium coffee expiring 7 days
$2 double cheeseburger expiring 3 days
20% off thing that's always there

Other account/s just got this one offer. Alrighty.

  • I can take a day off from my no fast food diet :)

    • +5

The occasional day off is fine imo.

Just make sure you dont have more than 7 per week

  • +3

If you're a mcdonalds connoisseur like myself, it is really beneficial to set up multiple accounts. I essentially have only been eating $4 cheeseburger + cheeseburger meals and $2 mcmuffins.

    • +2

How much time do you spend each day signing in and out of them all?

      • +1

Takes maybe 45 seconds to go through the 4 accounts cause of saved logins. Offers reset every few days at the same time so don't need to check often.

        • Also if you have multiple accounts linked to the same email address you can already just check the emails they send out on the new deal days (tues-thu, fri-mon) with the latest deal offer and simply log onto the one you want instead of checking every account manually.

      • +1

If you're on android there's ways to clone apps. I have about 10 maccas apps

        • surely easier just to get a crap load of emails

          • +2

@cobrakai: But by cloning you wouldn’t need to keep logging in and out of accounts. I often claim 2 deals (usually get multiple good deals as I have 13 accounts) in drive-thru and it’d be great for that if I end up switching to Android.

          • @cobrakai: You can both? Don't need to login and out and all the time.

        • Do you have more info on how to do this? Your preferred method perhaps?
          Cheers

          • @Flirtle: I use App Cloner, the add-on is on playstore but the actual app is somewhere online, blue logo, shouldn't be too hard.

            • @dv1den: Which payment option did you use to unlock cloning more than one copy? Their donation system is a bit confusing to navigate.

            • @dv1den: Thanks

    • How many acc is optimal

      • I have 4 and can get the cheeseburger deal essentially any time I feel like it.

      • greater than 6

    • The thing I don't understand is why they have different prices for the same deals. eg you could get either $8 or $9 for the two small big mac / quarter pounder meals, and the cheeseburger + cheeseburger small meal that you mentioned I've gotten the $5 or $6 version plenty of times instead of the $4 one. Are maccas trying to test some kind of gacha skinner box system for the app?

      • I've seen the same thing and wondered about it too. Maybe if you order the more expensive one a few times, they decide that price is no object and only offer more (+ $1) expensive deals thereafter. Maybe it's so you'll think you're getting a bargain when you see the $1 cheaper deal and will be more likely to order. I'm sure there's some kind of psychology behind it.

    • how many phones do you have ?

      • I don't know if this is serious or not but it's based on emails.

  • Maccas deals suck these days. You get a good one every now and again through the app but all the personalised deals are just BS for consumers. The loose change menu was 100x better.

  • +1

man that tasted so dry and bad

    • -1

      Complain, then get free food.

That's not to say the next one won't also be standard Macca's food.

  • Not bad. Proffered when they were $4.

The secret is to get extra big mac sauce (+0.50c) on your big mac and dump your chips in the burger box… let all the saucey mess drop over the fries while you eat it… then you've got McLoaded Sauce Fries!

    • or you can just order the sauce separately in case they stingy and don't give extra, like dominos

      • +4

When I order Domino's I honestly just feel blessed if they haven't completely forgotten an ordered item, let alone got the extras right.

I hear what your saying about ordering the sauce on the side by I find you get a pretty meagre amount in this little containers, the beauty of getting the sauce on the Big Mac is it's generally always more sauce but half the time you hit the jackpot and it's a ridiculous amount of sauce, like falling out the back completely unpractical amount of sauce that some 15 year old kid has put on the be a smart ass.

        • Thank you for sharing your experience, I better try it out :)

        • I ordered extra Feta the other day.
          Got my added Feta.
          They removed the mozzarella.

  • +1

I have 10 accounts and 7 of them have the $1 HB deal until Thursday!

    • there were a few days last week where all 4 of my accounts had those $1 hashbrown offers. don't get me wrong, i love hashbrowns but sometimes i need a bit more to sink my teeth into y'know?

  • nice break from the constant mcflurry of $1 hashbrown offers in the app

  • App never loads for me on Android.

    • Same, gets stuck on the M logo, have to force quit and it starts second time, and always presents the accept new terms and conditions.

    • Happened to me on my pixel 4.
Simply clear your apps cache on settings to fix it.

      • Yeah, I'm not doing that every time I want to use their shitty app

    • works fine on my ancient xiaomi mi4. the only time it chucks up errors on checkout was during november when they have those 30 deals. but it was fine last year compared to previous years.

  • I wish the drinks weren't so restricted on the Deal. Ordinarily with any value meal, you can pay extra and change the drink to a shake or even a McCafe drink.

    • The profit margins on deals like this would be razor thin - they are banking on customers forking out an extra $5 for a fancy frappe or a McFlurry.

      • The profit margin on this deal could be smaller.

The standard deals are actually a fair bit better.

(You can get $5 big mac + chesseburger small meal, $4 chesseburger + chesseburger small meal, $1 medium coffee, $1 chesseburger, $2 big mac, $1 large fries, 25% off)

  • Got this shit yesterday and am regretting it today, my guts are crook as

Will avoid Mickey d deals from now on (unless it’s a mcfarry)

    • A+ class logic here.

Because if you just bought the items without the deal, you wouldn't have gotten sick? (that's the implication from what you wrote).
