I'm not editing the whole post - but should be basically the same - just keep that in mind ok

TL : DR - Just follow the instructions via the link. But it wouldn't hurt to follow the extra instructions below if you're worried you'll stuff it up

Please note - I've copied and pasted and slightly altered the text from the ENEBA deal Thread from Jan 26.
(I assume all the details are pretty much the same - mods feel free to massage this anyway you need to?)

However, when I tried to use that deal just now - it said it had run out of keys - so I found this deal instead.
Seems it's basically the same deal from the week before the one above from the Ultimate Choice seller.

A VPN to Turkey must be used for this deal. Only works on accounts with no active GPU (expired or new members).

Purchase Xbox Live Gold $49.16 per year for up to 3 years, and add 1 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1 (new users) or $15.95 (expired users). The Xbox Live Gold subscription will then be upgraded to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Key for a year: $49.16 (not including fees)

The Xbox Live Gold 12 Month end-price is $49.16 on Eneba (as indicated below), but the user must also redeem a month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1 for new users and $15.95 for expired users to the whole price.
(Therefore slightly cheaper per month to buy three years (max)).*

Follow the instructions below:

Buy up to three 12-month subscriptions for Xbox Live Gold.

Clear you Browser Cache, then Connect to Turkey via VPN - (Some people recommend using the free Windscribe Chrome extension (chrome.google.com) but I used NordVPN)
Once connected, navigate to redeem.microsoft.com and sign in with your normal Microsoft/Xbox account (or make one first if you are new like I was).

Enter the code as normal, redeem and turn off the VPN (thanks to @emrik) AND Clear your Browser Cache.
Any subscription on your Xbox account can be topped up up to 36 months.

Remember - VPN should be off now.
After you've activated the Xbox Live Gold, redeem the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate month from the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate landing page(microsoft.com).
(Will add $1 for new users and $15.95 for expired users to the whole price).

DON'T FORGET - Go into the Xbox/MS account and Turn Off Recurring Billing… and check the Expiration Date.

The (up to) 36 months of Xbox Live Gold should show as 36 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on your account now.

This worked just fine for me as a new XBOX user - just created the account as I went.

I used NordVPN with the Windows 11 Edge Browser, but NOTE that I had to turn off my Pop-up blocker (UBlock Origin) to get this to work….
If you have Bitdefender Total Security that includes its own VPN (though I have no idea if it's any good?)

  Yeah hangon as Game Pass Ultimate also includes PC Game Pass built in. It's essentially PC Game Pass + Game Pass for Console in one package. Log on to your PC and game pass pc games will be available for you to play through the Xbox for PC app and also i think maybe the Windows Store. So no you didn't waste your money.

  Oh yes, just checked my account and it says expires in 12 months (Xbox Game Pass Ultimate). I turned off recurring billing but didn't check the subscription page again.
  Am currently playing on PC (don't have an Xbox).

  Re Playing Games You won't ever need a vpn because it will already be applied to your normal account.
  
  You only really need the VPN when you are Redeeming the Code that you bought from Eneba.
  
  You don't need it before or after that… don't need it to create an xbox account either.
  
  Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

So if I want to use Xbox and PC, I sign up for three years at $48.78 per year (so $140ish for the three years) and to get ultimate for three years, I just pay a one-off $1 or $15.95 fee depending if new or expired. Is that correct? There is no recurring monthly fee right?

Yeah, you decide how many years you want… and 1 or 16 bucks depending on your status.

You redeem the code first, that gives you the gold credit…. then just go and add the 1 month and that converts it all to Ultimate.

Make sure to turn off the recurring billing straight away.

  While this is not so much about cost… it is about anonymity.
  
  I used a Prepaid Visa Debit Gift Card from Woolworths - The Vanilla one is good because you dont' have to register any details (name address phone) whereas the ONLY One makes you do that (I just used real details from someone random online and changed the name).
  
  The key to remember is MAKE SURE YOU PAY WITH CASH ONLY and it helps to write on the card itself and the package you keep it in CASH in big letters!
  Take a photo of the front and back in case you lose it, email that to yourself.
  
  I forgot once and had to go back and buy another one.
  
  It's worth buying the biggest one you can get if you are likely to want to buy lots of things over the next few years as you pay $8 just to get a card.
  Most last at least 3 years.
  
  I've used this to buy a windows 11 Pro key, nord vpn, the xbox thing, dolby access… might use it for some games from grey market - but not sure?
  
  No paper trail is good though.

Hi guys,

Does the 12 months of Xbox Gold = 12 months of PC game pass?

Reading some of the tutorials it looks like 12 months of gold (~$50 turkey) only gives you 4 months of PC game pass ultimate (not as much as a massive saving).

A lot of the above comments seem to indicate this 12 months of xbox gold = 12 months of game pass, is that correct?

  Get above gold pass, follow instructions carefully (basically just VPN to Turkey then redeem).
  
  Upgrade to Ultimate for $1 (or $15.95, whatever appears for you).
  
  Cancel recurring billing, then you'll see your Ultimate subscription will expire in 12 months.

  Only solutions confirmed working that I've seen is to either
  
  A. Get onto Xbox live support, come clean, tell them you tried to be a tight ass and get Turkish live but need it to be converted to Aus region. Which generally from what I've heard, they will help you out with.
  
  Or B. Buy a Turkish Xbox live gift card and pay for 1 month of gamepass ultimate on the Turkish store with the gift card and it should convert all your gold to gamepass ultimate.
  
  These complaints are the only reason I'm tempted to just buy 12 month aus gold gift cards from JB hifi for $76… I know for 3 years it's going to cost me $78 more in total for 3 years of GPU but at least I know it's going to work with no stuffing around…

      Yeah I believe it works exactly the same, as the last step in this process is done via the Aus Xbox site, buying the $1 gamepass ultimate thing that converts all your live gold time to gamepass ultimate.
      
      I haven't done it yet, probably will tonight as I just got my Xbox yesterday, so do a bit of googling to confirm, don't take my word for it, I don't want to see you waste $200 because I was wrong… However I'm 99% sure it works the same with au gold accounts.

  I found the pop up blocker (i have ublock origin) was causing problems with this or something recently.
  
  And it's worth mentioning that some VPN's have 'pop-up blocker' like settings too…

  Same here, my subscription expired yesterday and also just did the one year as it came to $55 AUD today. Anyway used my VMware to use the Turkey VPN and claimed successfully (I only use Paypal for those sites). Then logged into Microsoft out of VMware and upgraded for $1. Subscription is good until 3/3/23. Can't complain I got 13 months Ultimate for under $60. Now time to unbox the Series X.

I jumped on Microsoft support online chat to sort it out. Took a while but in the end they gave me 12 months of Ultimate anyway! Happy with that.

Word of advice just confirming I extended my old gold till 2025 was getting error,s as I previously had gold stopped over a year ago and followed this awesome post unfortunately error after error on ultimate conversion $1.

Even went to the trouble and purchasing a 14 day global ultimate pass for 2 euro,s still errors out was about to throw in the towel and about to phone Microsoft but it clicked to me as I already purchased ultimate years ago for a $1 dollar back in 2018 was just sitting there in my history
I decided to reapply subscribe on it then attempted the Xbox live $1 and what do you no presto. :)

I was able to buy and add xbox live gold onto my account as per the instructions but had big issues with buying and adding game pass ultimate. The website and xbox both wouldn't let me buy it (kept getting errors). Spent about 3 hours with xbox chat support before everything was resolved. They were very helpful, but slow.

Have just tried this myself, however I did not read all the comments, and I renewed my subscription first before redeeming the 3 annual Gold codes, this resulted in me get 4 months Games Pass for each 12 month Gold. End of the day it works out at about $11/mo so about what I would have paid for local.

@RahRahRand - see your call out to redeem before renewing in the comments and now that I have gone back and read over the original post that makes scene too.

Just a heads up for anyone else, redeem codes BEFORE renewing.

Has anyone had a go at redeeming this Deal first, then trying to convert it with a GPU code? Save me having to use and finish my GPU code first, then take up this deal and pay $15.95 to convert it…
