        • +1

Ok must of ended with the S21 range, but is that only for the S20 Ultra with only the sdcard slot? I'm lost these days hope there is a come back for the sdcard slot with the upcoming s22 range, well at least the Ultra/Note22 range

S21 FE through Samsung deal for $509 that just expired?

eBay bought here, excellent condition 5G Note 10 Plus 512gb, just tad over $650 and that was middle of last year, certainly patience is neededπŸ‘πŸ˜

Buddy, not sure if you know phones or not, this is a tiny, light phone. Barely any like this anymore.

The phones you suggested are huge.

      • -1

Not if you have small hands, that's what my partner says lolz

      • Hence why I said compact in my original post. I'm not hating, it just doesn't make sense to me to spend $500 on phone that is outdated and will no longer receive os updates. Much better buys close to this price range. E.g. ZenFone 8 if you really care about compactness.

        • Well it will have the latest, just not the next. Came with android 9, got upgrade to 10, 11, and 12. That’s 4 operating system upgrades! Still getting security patches too. Perhaps only the the rest of the year but loads of rom support. Only a good deal if you want the buds and a small phone.

          • @onlinepred: That makes 3 O.S. updates, pretty normal for Samsung for this class phone.

            • +1

@ozhunter68: Great considering they said 2 years of os and 3 years of security. Getting 3 years of OS and 4 years of security is fantastic.

              • +1

@onlinepred: Agree, pretty good even at 3 X O.S. and + 1 more year security updates.

Personally I think 4-5 years updates is fair for phones above $600-$700+-rrp at release.

                • +1

@ozhunter68: Agreed! Should be the standard these days. Bought my first iPhone, interested to see how long it lasts now!

@onlinepred: Good one. Nice to have a change every now and agian.

Just checking out prices of used MacBook Pro/Air also for a

potential future change from Windows as well as Chromebooks.

  • Got the s21 256gb for $659 from the samsung-tradeins 2 months ago

    • $672 with Telstras first Telstra day, there were some better deals through Samsung though, I'm sure few will brag about 😁

      • Hehe 😎

But it was tough work for those Samsung codes but in the end with trade in was around 249 for s21 plus 128gb

  • Local gumtree listing has one for $260 lol

    • New or used?

      • Clearly would be used. Owner went back to apple apparently.

        • Could be bait for a scam

          • @Italkdigital: Was listed for $350 but after 2 weeks on the market, it dropped to $260. I keen for cheap lol.

            • +1

@Sheng: Sold my s10e for 300 last month (no accessories). This is the last android that has Jack and compact size.

              • @hopper: asus zenfone 8

              • @hopper: Back when phones were made well. Now we are getting ripped off.

  • Now 436 clicks,. there must be some interest in this, people must be searching hi and low on the BigW site for any stock near them

Sold my 2 year old galaxy s10e for $300 last week. This is a good price.
It received android 12 in December (last os update)

    • Wow you beat me,. I'm still waiting for Android 12 on a Note 10 Plus Telstra bought phone

There was also a cut down Note 10 but I think came out in Jan 2020 so had a 1/2 year longer in updates compared to the original Note 10 which came out in Sept 2019 I think, display screen is awesome over my Note 9 I'd say the s10 series would be the same?

      • Mine is grey import (dual Nano sim) from qbay deal for 670. Also claimed GST when humans use to fly.

      • S10e was 1080p only. But great phone that survived my abuse for almost 3 years.

  • -1

Seems like it's back in-stock online and free delivery no?

  • -3

So tiny. It's hard to come down from a 6.9 screen. Where have all the big screen phones gone?

  • I missed this deal few months ago but later found S20 FE 4G for $469 at Samsung Education Store. Thought myself lucky missing this deal.

  • Poco X3 GT or this? If shipping time is not a factor

    • specs wise, GT for days

  • Dammit, this is my current phone and the port is getting janky. I'd be happy to have the same phone but with faster innards, but the only new phone that fits my requirements is the Xperia and it's not supported for 4g in Australia.

  • Great phone, headphone jack, wireless charging, SD card slot, and supports DeX desktop mode.
I find Buds+ are great for phone calls, compact case has wireless charging, fits easily into the pocket.
Downsides for me were the battery life and screen PWM flicker which can irritate some users.

  • Not in stock for me

  • Brand New local s10e (without headphones) on eBay for $400 shipped.

Galaxy Buds+ were on sale at JB Hi-fi in December last year for $107.10

  • Where is it in stock LOL I tried multiple suburbs in different states none of them have item in stock for delivery online

  • +1

I'm still on an X Compact hoping for a similar sized phone with more up to date tech but pretty sure that ain't happening for the foreseeable future, not before my phone dies anyway when one day I drop it one too many times.

S10e is probably the largest I'd go, still wanting jack and SD slot. People suggesting all those massively taller larger phones have missed the point lol.

If only something like the Aquos R2 Compact was easier and cheaper to get.
