Sell 5600xt to buy a 6600xt?

Hi everyone,
I am wondering what everyone's thoughts are on possibly selling my Asus Triple fan 5600xt for $800ish on ebay, and then putting this into getting a better gpu like a 6600xt. I originally bought my 5600xt for $400 a year ago, and if I sold my 5600xt for $800 (as seems to be the going price on ebay and gumtree) and bought a 6600xt for $729 from [this] (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/681479) deal, I would be earning money while getting an upgrade??

Just wondering if there is a catch, because if not, why not?

Just wondering if there is a catch, because if not, why not?

Doesn't appear there is any catch. The 5000 series cards are better at mining. Meaning they are worth more to miners then the newer 6000 series. Hence the price difference.
I sold my 5700xt and a 1660ti for $1460 and bought a 6700xt and had money left over.

Only advice I have is watch if the bitcoin price eurotheum? is tanking.
My experience selling I was offered $1100 just for the 5700xt 2 weeks before I sold it and said no. 2 weeks later I was offered in the range of ~$900.
The total price I paid for both the cards was $1039. $640 and $399. I got to use them for ~2 years and still somehow made money. lol

    • Do you have an idea for the price I could get for it? As I said above its a triple fan asus 5600xt

Don't do it, 5600 XT is a far, far better card than 6600 XT.

    • really? how did you come to that conclusion
