Deep Woods Rose is an absolute banger - and a stone cold bargain at $10

I'm a big fan of the Yalumba Y Series Rose and Viognier. These do end up at $10 often, but are a solid buy at that price.

Can't go wrong with the De Bortoli Prosecco's either.

This saves the 15% cashback deal imo. Mixed case incoming to the Miso household.

    • Can you share your order when you make it thanks

        Think I'm gonna grab

2 of each of the De Bortoli Prosecco
2 Viognier, 2 Deep Woods Rose
2 Evans and Tate SavB (got a spritzer guy coming over next week. Should keep him happy)
        1 Y Sangovaise Rose.
1 of the Ganzo chianti, bit of an unknown but it's docg so worth a go.

Second the Y series, did a tasting a couple of years back and was floored at how good some of it is at the price.

    Also, Stones!

Will have to try the Reschke Cab Sauv too. It used to be a bit of a bargain, dunno if it still is, I hadn't seen the name around for a while.

Earthworks Reisling is great ($12 at liquorland) we've already had half a dozen and would recommend!

Not sure how the Earthworks reds hold up, but worth a shot!

@lberation: It's been a while since I had it, but if I recall correctly, the Shiraz was quite decent.

    Any recommendations on Reds?

@Peanut money: Other than the Earthworks Shiraz I mentioned above, the only one I can comment on is the Pioneer Road Langhorne Creek Shiraz. Very nice full bodied Shiraz.

        Thanks for that

I’ll order 12 of the pioneer rd - it has good reviews too

      • Not available in NSW for click and collect or delivery, I’ll get the Earthworks

        • +1

          @Peanut money: Not so.

It's available for delivery in NSW, and for Click & Collect at the stores that have stock. (Took me 6 attempts to find Edmondson Park 1c which allows for C&C.)

See this thread for more info on the "Removed product Pioneer Road Langhorne Creek Shiraz 750mL in NSW as it is no longer in stock." bug.

@robinCTS: Never mind since I’ve already ordered the earthworks

Appreciate the reply and the care factor. You’re a really nice person

  • Another $30 for free shipping, any single malt suggestions?

Might go the Glen Scotia for $68

$266 is the max for cashrewards 15% cashback

    • +1

@King Steuart: Umm, actually, it's $293.30 to max out the cashback. (The cashback is calculated on the reported ex-GST value.)

You can add more than 12 and each additional bottle is still $10
