  • this is great because it is foldable, but i absolutely love my all terrain radio flyer and can't use anything else.

    • What model do you have / any recommendations?

      • +2

I bought this one pre covid when i was in the usa.they told me this was a must have with kids and can go through anything, unlike the classic one where you can only use it on the roads. i don't know if anyone sells it here, i never seen them.

weight capacity is 200lbs. i was rolling in it and it didn't break, lol. i weigh 220lbs

Similar to Gorilla carts available at Bunnings

          • @ajbee: those things are ugly, but i guess you could use it, lol.
those gorilla carts are not designed for beach sand, it has pneumatic tires BUT they are too narrow to stop the weight of the wagon loaded with your stuff from sinking.
It will cause you untold headaches DON'T DO IT!

  • Intrigued by the brakes. Are these things getting over-engineered now?

How's this compare to the cheapy Kmart equivalent? $79

Capacity is 50kg compared to 120kg

I have the Kmart one. It does the job. I couldn't get 120kg in it if I tried. 50kg is enough for me but I've had over that and it's fine.

  • Cheers OP ordered x1

Reviews give it a 4.1 out 5 so worth the punt

Are these suitable for taking the kids for a walk? Sometimes they get a bit tired and when one child sits, the other wants to also so they fight over the single pram (note: older child is definitely capable of walking but gets tired if we go far or gets jelly of the little one rollin')

  • Will this rust if you leave near the ocean?

    Any protection around the bearings.

Got the Kmart deluxe version as a Xmas present. Used it at the beach once (fine sand) & the wheels already feel a little jammed.

  • Just bought the kmart $79 one… it is larger than I expected when folded up, but looks reasonable quality.
Hoping to test next weekend at an outdoor music festival - covid permitting :)
