Looking for some advice. I have an Automatic Remote Access Garage rdo 3b.
I have just received the Non-Homekit version from Amazon today.
I am trying to use the wire to short it but I cant seem to get access to the 2 holes.

Got it figured out and manage to short it to see the garage door open but now not sure why the signal cable are not working.
If you can short it, you just put the wires in the same holes and it should work
Already replied to another commenter with the same issue, but I’m having a similar issue here, with a CSI Classic Pro Series. Shorting with the wire works, but the opener doesn’t seem to be getting any command via the signal cables when connected to the same terminals. Have you had any luck since?
I made some progress, turns out it is not that it doesn't work, it only knows how to close the garage! If my garage is open, pressing the button in the app works, but when garage is closes, pressing the button will try to close it again which is weird. Must be some weird behavior with my garage, will send an email to support.
Can i use this without connecting the sensor? I just want it to either open/close the door based on its current status like how a garage remote works.
Not a good idea - regular openers "know" if the door is open or not. This unit is basically a wifi-connected switch so it has to have is signal from the door in order to open or close the contacts to tell your opener what to do
Received and installed today. Took a gamble. Wasn’t on the list of compatibility.
Question, is there a way to command or something to stop the garage half way?
At the moment it’s open or close and can’t stop it.
I’m also currently not using the sensor (I’ll run the wire correctly on the weekend). Is it safe to use without?
Now to set up HomeKit iPad.
I think the sensor is meant for just for opening / closing alerts.
For half way through I had done it once using the app slider and it had worked.
I set it up without sensor at first and the open and closed were flipped. Have hooked up sensor now.
Now to work out how to stop it midway.
By commanding the opposite operation is what I have found to work so far.

Yeah mine worked now. Had to search reddit for it. Did you use the app to open/close your garage? This was my mistake, thought it would work by moving just the sensors haha
Ah, bugger. Thanks for replying, but yeah, I was using the app. The Meross device clicks when I activate it via the app, but nothing actually happens with the opener :(
@thevans101: Are you connected to the WiFi? Did you put the wires on the first 2 terminals from the right? Have you tested the terminals with pliers?
@Bjay: Yeah, the WiFi connection seems good, the status light on the Meross device and the app itself both indicate it’s working.
I connected on of the signal cables to the ground terminal and the other to my opener’s O/S/C terminal. Shorted those two with the included shorting wire and that opens and closes the door just fine.
In contact with support now, but they’ve only suggested things that I’ve already tried.
I've got the glidematic GTS+ ultima. I have it working but it beeps 5 times when closing using the alarm. I've just disabled the closing alarm from the app, so hoping that resolves it. Did you have the same issue?
I initially bought it for my newer garage motor but couldn't find where I could put the plugs in. I instead moved onto my other garage door and put the wires in where motor connects to the wall remote. Hardest part is getting the sensors to work.
Anyone know how to geofence on Google ecosystem?

However I cannot get it to work with Alexa :(
I have Vicway Garage controller. How do I connect the wire from Meross to Vicway PB and GND? There are no screws on the connector?
Perhaps you could link to the $10 item you say by itself replicates this functionality. I am certainly interested to see it.
