[NSW] Energizer 2m USB-C to Lightning Cable MFi Certified $14.80 @ Woolworths (Kingsgrove)

120

Energizer 2M USB-C to Lightning cable on clearance at Woolworths Kingsgrove for $14.80 (was $32). Unsure if this is only a store-specific price.

Supports the full 20W Apple fast charging for iPhones 12 and above - I have tested this myself. Charges at the identical speed as the OEM cable that came with my iPhone 12 Pro. Box says compatible with "Power Delivery 18W", but I assume this is because the iPhone 12 was not released yet when this cable was designed (box says made for iPhone 11 Pro).

Good quality cable, much thicker than OEM one. Overall, a decent price for a 2M MFi certified USB-C to lightning cable.

Yes they are. I bought a couple for $10.00 each @ ColesWorth a few years back. Even sitting cable in a static location and careful handling (gripping USB-C connector and not the cable) I only got about a 8-10 months out of them. It doesn't take much to to weaken the cable nearest to the connectors. I have only bought braided cables since.

Would only recommend to keep in backpack, glovebox etc buy for emergency use. or when out and about on the go.

  • My local Woolworths doesn't stock mobile accessories anymore. I was told due to too much shoplifting.

  • Energizer has lasted me longest other than original ones that came with phone, not sure how they are now though

    • I swear Apple have planned-obsolescence with their cables. $1000 phone ships with a dogshit cable. They’re insanely crap quality.

      • They do, Steve Jobs went fashion over function on the cables - there is a youtube video about why
