    I eye off that 1kg chilli jerky every time 4hunter posts a deal, such good value! It seems very common for jerky to be $80-100+ per kilo. If only I wasn’t so broke lol.

    Delivery is slow on these ones. Still haven't received it. What's the shelf life of them. I'm concerned they might be off by the time they arrive

    Got mine, some thoughts:

    Drywors are 8/10 would destroy a KG. Chilli flavour is WEAK (imo).
    Stokkies are 5/10 - very thick piece of fat running through the middle of mine. Chilli flavour is non-existant.
    Biltong are a 6.5/10 - meat, piri-piri flavour is a joke - I only taste garlic.

    Would buy drywors again, wouldn't recommend their chilli flavours.

      Similar thoughts.
      I did not enjoy the biltong. It was dry and too salty. I understand that safety regulations regarding moisture content are partly to blame.
      I much prefer my local SA shop that cuts it fresh in front of you.

      However! The dry wors is stellar. The hot chilli flavour has a nice bite of heat to it and tastes fantastic.
      If you are going to try the biltong I highly recommend ordering a bag of dry wors as well.

      Drywors - Did you order mild or hot ? ( as there wasn't many hot available)
      Stokkies - lucky you got some fat , that imo is the best part of stokkies , as for the chilli you must have extreme heat tolerance lol. But if you say up the heat we will 100% look into increasing the heat .
      Biltong - Peri-Peri, well this was the first thing and is always the first thing to sell out on a Oz Bargain promo. And we wont be making any adjustments to one of our top sellers. Not sure how you only taste garlic?

      And I will say one thing smashing a kg of our drywors is always a winner.

      Again thanks for the feedback as we take everything onboard to try improve ….. no feedback = no improvements

        Hi Peter,

        I don't really have "extreme" heat tolerance (even a jalapenio will give me the sweats!). It's just that I am really not tasting any chilli at all in your products

        The label on the drywors says "hot". I haven't had a stokkie before so the fatline took me by surprise. The biltong meat cut is amazing, its just all I'm tasting is garlic.

        My best guess is that I recieved a potentially a underseasoned/mislabelled batch or I just got unlucky - but not making any claims/suggesting that is what happened at all.

        Looking forward to the next deal for more drywors!
