What's the lowest you have seen it at? Seems $4,794 is the cheapest i can find at the moment.

within 3 hours of the OZB post the price was $3k more.. It was a pricing error. pretty lucky if you got that….

Good price, waiting for it to drop below $3k and feel dirty I missed the 85' at the same price a few days ago with that JB pricing error lol.

Yeah they did with TVs in stock. But it was pulled within a couple of hours once they realised. Apparently 100 odd went on back order, not sure those ones will be honoured… wasn’t lucky enough to be on the list
It has dropped in price again ($2,990) however it is on back order. My delivery turned up 2 days ago.

Think I will pull the trigger on this. Might see if JB will price match and include delivery just so it's easier for warranty purposes.

Could this be the end of this tv? Got this at Harvey Norman for this price, one store left in SA with stock no one else willing to sell as apparently the incoming orders stores have sold their quota already. JB, Good Guys refused to sell it to me either for the same reason. Had JBs and a different Harvey’s try and sell me floor stock, the good guys I tried had already sold floor stock.

Since the 85'' is only about $500 more (or same price if you go by the last discount which didnt last long at all).
The 85QN85a is the size which comes with a VA panel and is way better than the ADS/IPS panel that are in the models below. The 85QN85A is very similar to the QN90A (same number of dimming zones, same panel) except that the 90A has higher peak brightness.The ADS/IPS panels don't work well at all with the mini-LED local dimming at all (see the Rtings review). Local dimming is one of the core reasons why you are getting this TV as well.
Where is this cheap 85 inch you talk of. Would love to cancel my order and get the 85 if it's only 500 more.
Bit the bullet on this one, booked from Woodville SA HN a few days ago and cancelled the order after seeing lower price. I think someone here bought that same piece yesterday :) as that was the last one.
Got it from David Jones for $3199 plus $55 delivery. Saved $95 compared to HN as they were charging $50 for delivery. Didn't want to do a back order on App Central.
David Jones declined the order, ordering directly from Samsung now.
