  Not too hard to find Bridgestone retailers who don't jack up the price (much, if at all) per tyre during B3G1F promotions. But not easy to find Micheiln retailers who don't sell them at a premium price in the first place. Plus the best discount I've seen them do is only 100 back for 4 - which is what they have competing against Bridgestone's offer right now.
  
  So many (not all) people say the PS4 is better. But is it 26% better overall in my size (based on the cheapest prices I can find for both to date, factoring in the current promotion for both)? That is my burning question…
  
  Might have to do what @Durian Pancake had done next time. But alas, just got another set of new RE003s today. Oh well :)

    Definately not. It might be better in some or most metrics, but it's never going to approach 26% better across the board if you're looking for absolute value.
    
    The problem is, the better tyre might shave 3 metres off your stopping distance in the wet - and that might be critical !
