I hate their incorrect use of the word "oops" like it was innocent mistake to not include you in the promotion…
It's your mistake for trying to use the promo you're not eligible for
Their "Oops" is basically saying "Aww honey, did you expect we'd give you a discount? That's cute 🤭" and I hate it
Should just say "Don't try and use someone else's promo you tight arse" instead of mockery XD

I wouldn’t use these services at their normal prices. They’re such a rip off. I’m not lazy enough to get into the car and pick it up myself for nearly half the prices.
Makes you wonder how people managed to feed themselves before Uber Eats came along.

Got this myself, anything less than a 25% discount isn't really worth using uber eats over. But this is good.
Is it really 50% off though once you factor in delivery fees and service fees??
No delivery or service fee if you pick up the food yourself.

Got this targeted email offer as well , likely due to inactivity - I haven't used them for months due to bad experiences.
I suspect Uber Eats lost market share in recent times now they're trying to claw it back.
Likely from higher margin cuts from food stores, paying delivery drivers least and extorting the consumer - extra $$ just for basic things such as food to come directly as "premium service" - otherwise delivery drivers will make 2 random stops elsewhere on a "cost saving" journey and food from a place that's only 20 mins away takes an hour after pickup and comes cold.Been switching to DoorDash lately as many of the good restaurants in my area don't even offer Uber Eats anymore

Their service charges on top of all the other fees is why I refuse to use them now
Uber eats prices are so much more expensive than when buying in shop and they also charge Delivery fees

Got this as well. I've been using Doordash recently. Once fees and delivery are added you're only saving a few dollars but it's better than nothing. I'll take it!
Ever since the service fee I don’t think I’ve used Uber eats. Last time I had a $15 off promo the $15 didn’t cover the markup + fees. It was cheaper to order directly.

I’m assuming they continue to take fees out of the restaurants share, which is why the restaurant prices are still marked up. Double whammy for the customers.I made the shift to doordash and their dash pass during the months I expect to be ordering in more often. So long as you use it 3 times in the month, the pass pays for itself.
