  Or, you could do some research into privacy & zero knowledge encryption/open source software and get yourself 20GB with MEGA for $0. You can get an extra 15GB by doing some basic stuff like installing the app. Also the clients and software are very good.

  Any thoughts on whether this Amazon Drive is better than the Google Drive? Both seem to have the same price tiers.

    I would test out the apps of Amazon Drive and Google Drive and see which you prefer .. and check integrations with your PC/tablet/phone to your favourite apps

    I did a heap of testing and preferred Amazon (cant recall exact reasons as it was a few years ago)

  Mostly use it to link my echo show and get the pictures displayed as diaporama.

  Can automatically backup straight from phone to it.

  I'm using Google photos as main backup system, but it's a nice offer from Amazon.

  This is all changing. Amazon Drive is no more.
  Amazon Photos will be a lot more restrictive about the file types you can store - just recently got a note that some old Photoshop files that I'd uploaded would be deleted on 29/2/23.
