        Dashpass gives you free delivery sometimes service fee can be 2-5%.

        Worth getting the annual dashpass, especially when they have any offers (I got 50% off two orders), and then delivery is free for orders over $20. Service fee is about 5% but I think capped - and the great thing is they refund you the difference if your item is cheaper at Coles. Has worked out cheaper and more convenient than shopping in store.

      Dumb question. What's a Coles local? Coles Express or your local normal Coles also delivers via Doordash?

      I searched and only could find Coles Express.

        Coles Local is like a Woolworths Metro. It's not as big as a standard Coles store.

        Coles Express is a convenience store often attached to Shell service stations. Like all convenience stores prices are inflated compared to the big supermarkets.

        I've got 3 "Coles Locals" near me on Doordash that are actually full sized Coles, and hence normal Coles prices whereas the 1 Woolworths Metro I've got (full size Woolies aren't on Uber Eats) has got the typical ~10% markup

        So there's definitely more Coles on there than just the special Local branded stores.

        Don't forget The Reject Shop is also the same price as in store if you have one nearby.

      Just wondering are the items on Doordash's Coles Local always full price and doesn't have the sale prices when there are weekly specials at Coles?

      I looked one item as an example, currently Cadbury Hazelnut Chocolate Block is $3.50 in Coles but on Doordash it's the $5 which is full price.

      used to be better, now they have fees too and it's pretty close. but DD usually has at least 8% standard cashback or 13% on previous sales. so they're still ahead if all things are equal/close. oh and that $1 back ;)

      Deliveroo are so bad, twice I ordered recently took almost 1.5 hours… Doordash is my go to nowadays, they have free delivery with dashpass and lower fees than ubereats.

      I'm not a fan of price jacked menus on both, + del + svc fees. I'm really not sure, the 20% off would probably just bring it back to same price as if you walked to the restaurant. So = free delivery I guess.
